Yesterday was fun and sad at the same time. We went to a shelter where 48 kids are staying. They used to have home surrounded by family, a place where you should feel the security.
But unfortunately, they were not. How can someone who you look up to, where happiness and safety are supposedly on their parent's arms, on their so called Home.
Parents who should fight for you, cry for you, care for you, feed you and love you are actually the reason of the scar in your heart that will remain forever.
Seeing the kids dance and sing knowing their situation, broke me. Looking at their smiling faces but deep within them, they are shattered.
Even with what they are going through, they are still longing for their parents, especially this Christmas, a season of joy, giving and love. But what could they do if they are also their perpetrators too. How cruel.
Yes! We gave them food, toys, groceries and even brought Jollibee for them. Things they can use, happiness they feel, but we know for a fact, that those are only temporary.
Realization is hitting me up. It's not how we help them with material things. They are thankful, but as I look up on the deeper side, it's actually the other way around.
We are the one who should be thankful,
with what we have, family, the safety, the security, love and care.
Things that they were deprived of.
I pray for them, not only the 48 kids but to all with the same cases. And luckily, there is Lost Coin Ministries giving them home and hope.
Thank you so much po!

Acts 20:35
In everything I did, I showed you that by this kind of hard work we must help the weak, remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said: ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’ ”
To all our family, friends and everyone supporting our gift giving,
Thank you all so much! God bless your kind heart a thousandfold! Merry Christmas! 🌲❤️
