With grateful hearts, we celebrate the successful culmination of our Flores de Mayo 2026, spearheaded by the Parish Youth Ministry of St. Roch the Healer Parish โ€“ Maydolong.

The celebration began with a solemn procession, followed by the Holy Mass presided over by Rev. Fr. Dan G. Gaรฑas, uniting everyone in prayer and devotion to our Blessed Mother. In the afternoon, the community gathered for a joyful program filled with animations, presentations, awarding ceremonies, games, the distribution of school supplies, and snacks for our Floristas.

We extend our sincere gratitude to all our sponsors, benefactors, volunteers, parents, and supporters whose generosity and kindness made this event possible. Your support helped make this celebration meaningful, successful, and memorable for everyone.

Above all, we give thanks to God and to our Blessed Mother Mary for guiding us throughout this beautiful month of devotion. May the spirit of faith, service, and unity continue to inspire us all. ๐Ÿ’™โค๏ธ๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿ’š

Parish Youth Ministry โ€“ Maydolong proudly joined the 33rd Diocesan Pentecost Vigil hosted by Our Lady of Salvation Parish in Buabua, Salcedo.

Together with fellow young people across the Diocese of Borongan, our delegation experienced a meaningful celebration filled with faith, fellowship, and spiritual renewal. Youth representatives from various parishes also led the animations, making the gathering more lively, joyful, and united.

It was truly a wonderful opportunity to meet fellow youths, share in prayer and worship, and strengthen our unity as one Church.

Thank you, mga Sangkay, for your active participation, enthusiasm, and dedication throughout the event. May the Holy Spirit continue to guide and empower us as we grow in faith and service. ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ’›โค๏ธ

๐ƒ๐š๐ฒ ๐Ÿ ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐„๐ฆ๐ฉ๐จ๐ฐ๐ž๐ซ๐ข๐ง๐  ๐˜๐จ๐ฎ๐ง๐  ๐†๐ž๐ง๐ž๐ซ๐š๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐“๐ก๐ซ๐จ๐ฎ๐ ๐ก ๐‚๐ก๐ซ๐ข๐ฌ๐ญ was truly a day filled with faith, joy, and spiritual renewal, Mga Sangkay.

The day began with the Holy Mass presided over by Rev. Fr. James B. Abella. We sincerely thank Fr. James for celebrating the Holy Mass and for his prayers and support for the youth.

From every praise and worship, teachings, sharing, and fellowship, we experienced the presence of the Holy Spirit moving among us. Hearts were touched, lives were strengthened, and faith was renewed as we opened ourselves fully to Godโ€™s love and grace.

The day concluded with the powerful moment of the ๐๐š๐ฉ๐ญ๐ข๐ฌ๐ฆ ๐ข๐ง ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐‡๐จ๐ฅ๐ฒ ๐’๐ฉ๐ข๐ซ๐ข๐ญ, where many encountered God in a personal and meaningful way. It became a beautiful reminder that the Lord continues to transform and empower His people through the Holy Spirit.

Today, mga Sangkay, our hearts and minds were nourished through meaningful sessions centered on Christianity, the purpose of man, proper Christian attitude, praise, and Christian growth.

We were reminded that becoming a true Christian means being united with Christ and fully accepting Him into our lives. Through Him, we are called to live a life rooted in faith, love, and service.

The sessions also emphasized that the true purpose of man is to become one with God and strengthen our relationship with Him every day. As Christians, we are encouraged to develop the right attitude by learning how to humble ourselves, give thanks, and praise the Lord for all the blessings and goodness He has given us.

โ€œPraiseโ€ is not only about singing or praying, but also about having a thankful and humble heart before God. Through praise and worship, we acknowledge His greatness and express our gratitude for everything He has done for us.

Part of todayโ€™s formation was also the teaching of worship songs, where the youth joyfully learned songs of praise and worship that helped deepen their spiritual connection with the Lord.

We are also truly grateful to the Charismatic Community, our guest speakers and facilitators, for sharing their time, wisdom, testimonies, and inspiring messages that strengthened the faith of our young people.

Lastly, the session on Christian Growth reminded us that our spiritual journey involves transformation, renewal, and dying to our old selves so that we may grow closer to Christ each day.

Empowering Young Generation through Christ โ€“ A Catholic Youth Formation Seminar, a Spirit-filled journey rooted in the teachings of the Roman Catholic Church. Together, we will explore the purpose of man, commitment (Faith, Church, and Ministry), sin, the Holy Spirit, and renewal, all aimed at deepening our relationship with Christ and living a life of faith and service.
