Ako ay isang mag-aaral ng Manuel S. Enverga Memorial School of Arts and Trades—isang teknikal-bokasyunal na paaralan, na tahanan ng masisigasig at talentadong kabataang Maubanin.
Bilang kabataang produktibo at mapagmahal sa sariling bayan, buo ang aking paniniwala na ang craftsmanship—ang kahusayan sa paggawa gamit ang bisig, talino, puso, at malikhaing isipan—ay isa sa pinakamahalagang yaman na maaaring ipagmalaki ng ating paaralan at bayan.
Sa bawat kahoy na hinugis, metal na hininang, pagkaing inihain, at kasuotang tinahi ng mga mag-aaral, nahuhubog ang mga obra na hindi lamang simbolo ng kasanayan, kundi larawan ng kultura at sining ng Mauban. Ang mga ito ay maaaring gawing pangunahing atraksyon ng turismo sa loob ng paaralan.
Kaya naman, aking isinusulong ang mga gawaing bokasyonal bilang bahagi ng adbokasiyang pang-turismo ng paaralan. Nawa’y maging inspirasyon ang MSEMSAT sa iba pang paaralan sa pagtangkilik sa sariling gawang produkto at pagpapalaganap ng lokal na kultura ng Mauban.

Sa pagbubukas ng kursong Arts and Design ng aming paaralang , nagbukas ang pinto upang malinang ang kagalingan ng mag-aaral sa sining at malikhaing pagpapahayag.
Isa sa pinakatampok na nakapaloob sa pangunahing performans ay ang sining ng paglalala. Isa ito sa pamana ng ating mga ninuno na dapat nating buhayin ,pagyamanin at ipagmalaki. Ang paglalala ay hindi lamang paghabi ng mga hibla kundi isa itong likhang-sining na sumasalamin sa sipag, tiyaga at kahusayan ng Maubanin.
Sa bawat paghabi ng buri, kasaysayan ang nasasalamin. Isang kultura na kailanman ay hindi namamatay sa pusong may pagmamahal sa bayan.
Sa muling pagbuhay ng paglalala sa paaralan, mabubuo ang tulay ng nakaraan sa kasaluyan. Daan ito upang muling maitaguyod ang pagkakakilanlan at pagmamalasakit sa kultura.
Patuloy nating kilalanin at payabungin ang sining-ng paglalala . Ating ibantayog saanman tayo dumako dahil ito ang tatak ng isang Maubanin.
