𝑴𝒂’𝒂𝒎 𝑯𝒐𝒏𝒆𝒚 𝑳𝒚𝒏𝒏𝒆 𝑩. 𝑩𝒖𝒏𝒐𝒅 & 𝑴𝒂’𝒂𝒎 𝑲𝒊𝒂𝒓𝒂𝒉 𝑹𝒆𝒚𝒔𝒉𝒚𝒍𝒍𝒆 𝑰. 𝙏𝙃𝙀 𝘽𝙀𝙎𝙏 𝙋𝙐𝘽𝙇𝙄𝘾 𝙎𝙋𝙀𝘼𝙆𝙀𝙍 𝘼𝙒𝘼𝙍𝘿

Ma'am Gemma Q. Abarquez, a 15yrs and 8 months of service as a teacher ll, her favorite quote is “𝐐𝐮𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐧𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐰𝐢𝐧, 𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐧𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐭.”

If Ma'am Abarquez has given an opportunity to speak in front of many people, for her, it means that she has an edge among all those who are listening to her.

The most memorable speech of Ma'am Abarquez is, every time she teach her students, she makes sure that the lessons are instilled in their minds. She teaches them that the right thing to do is to make a right decisions and respect each other. She wants to see them apply these lessons to themselves. That is the time she can say that it is memorable to her because she sees that her students are being guided by what she teaches them, and they carry those lessons with them as they grow up.

But no matter how we teach you, if you are not willing to accept or apply what we teach you, or if those teachings cannot be absorbed into your life, we couldn't do anything about it. Because in the end, those lessons, advice, and teachings are just guides. In the end, the navigator and pilot of our life are ourselves because we are the ones setting our goals. So, 𝐢𝐟 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐬𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐠𝐨𝐚𝐥𝐬, 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝𝐧'𝐭 𝐥𝐞𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐲𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐥𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐲𝐨𝐮. That's why teachers are just the ones who guide you, and you are the one who can handle yourself. 𝗧𝗘𝗔𝗖𝗛𝗘𝗥 𝗢𝗙 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗗𝗔𝗬 18/𝟯𝟬

𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗕𝗘𝗦𝗧 𝗟𝗘𝗦𝗦𝗢𝗡 𝗣𝗟𝗔𝗡𝗡𝗘𝗥 𝗔𝗪𝗔𝗥𝗗

What makes a good lesson? For Master Teacher I, Ma’am Elenor P. D**a, it all starts with understanding the learners. With 34 years of service as a MAPEH teacher, she has learned that every student has different abilities, needs, and ways of learning.

When planning her lessons, Ma’am Elenor always considers her learners first. She looks at their level, abilities, and individual differences to make sure that her lessons are suitable for them. For her, lesson planning is not just about preparing what to teach, but also about knowing how her students can learn best.

She also makes sure that her students are actively involved in her lessons. She chooses activities and strategies that encourage them to participate instead of simply listening. She believes that students learn better when they are given the chance to take part in the learning process.

Her journey as a teacher also came with challenges. When she first started teaching at the age of 25, she admitted that she was nervous and shy, especially whenever students asked her questions. With time and experience, however, she gained confidence and continued to grow as an educator.

One of the things she strongly believes in is that “There are no people in this world who are incapable of learning.” According to her, everyone has their own skills, intelligence, and abilities. What matters is having the courage to try and discover what they are capable of.

For new teachers, Ma’am Elenor encourages them to keep their teaching learner-centered and to stay active in the classroom. She believes that a good lesson is not only about how much a teacher prepares, but also about how much students are able to participate and understand.

Her favorite reminder, “There is no harm in trying,” reflects her belief in giving learners the courage to do their best. After 34 years of teaching, Ma’am Elenor continues to show that understanding the learners is one of the most important parts of being a teacher.

To keep her classes lively, Ma’am Heide Mae uses 𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲𝗹𝘆 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 that encourage students to participate. One of her ways to wake up a sleepy class is by incorporating 𝗽𝗼𝗽𝘂𝗹𝗮𝗿 𝗧𝗶𝗸𝗧𝗼𝗸 𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗱𝘀 into lessons, making sure they remain appropriate and connected to the learning objectives.

For her, the best classroom atmosphere is one where students 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗹𝘆 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗲, 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗮𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗻. She believes that meaningful interaction makes learning more enjoyable for both students and teachers.

🎭✨ BEHIND EVERY GREAT PERFORMANCE IS A TEAM THAT PREPARES! ✨🎭

At Mati National Comprehensive High School (MNCHS), students take on different challenges such as Performance Tasks (PTs), competitions, school programs, and showcases. Before stepping onto the stage, they dedicate their time to practicing their routines, memorizing their parts, improving their skills, and working together as a team. Every rehearsal is an opportunity to learn, correct mistakes, build confidence, and prepare for the big day. 💪🎶

But a successful performance is not only about the performers. Behind every presentation is a group of people working together to make everything organized and ready. This is where the Performance Committee comes in. 🎤📋

Our committee helps support the performers by coordinating practices, organizing the flow of performances, assisting with materials and props, monitoring preparations, and making sure everyone understands their roles and responsibilities. We work together to create an environment where students can showcase their talents with confidence and give their best on stage. 🌟

Every performance represents hours of preparation, teamwork, patience, creativity, and dedication. From the first rehearsal to the final presentation, every small effort contributes to something bigger. Whether it is a classroom PT, an inter-school competition, or a school showcase, the goal remains the same: to work together, give our best, and make every performance meaningful. 🏆✨

𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙗𝙡𝙚𝙢 𝙎𝙤𝙡𝙫𝙚𝙧 𝘼𝙬𝙖𝙧𝙙

Teaching comes with unexpected moments, challenges and situations that test a teacher’s patience. But sometimes, solving a problem begins with something simple—staying calm.

With 2 years of teaching experience, Mr. Richard Lim Tonzo, a Teacher 1 major in PKLP, has learned that panic does not make difficult situations easier. Instead, taking a moment to relax allows him to think clearly and find the right solution.

"𝐑𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐱 𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐠. 𝐈𝐟 𝐦𝐚𝐠𝐩𝐚𝐝𝐚𝐥𝐚 𝐤𝐚 𝐬𝐚 𝐢𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐧𝐚-𝐟𝐞𝐞𝐥, 𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐦𝐚-𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐤𝐚 𝐮𝐠 𝐝𝐥𝐢 𝐧𝐢𝐦𝐨 𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐮𝐠 𝐬𝐮𝐥𝐛𝐚𝐝."

One of the biggest classroom challenges he encountered involved a group of hard headed students. Through proper action and guidance, he was able to address the situation and restore peace and order in the classroom.

For Mr. Tonzo, staying calm is something he has learned through experience. When problems arise, he simply takes a moment to relax, allowing himself to 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙠 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙡𝙮 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙖𝙘𝙩 𝙬𝙞𝙨𝙚𝙡𝙮.

Beyond solving problems, he also reminds his students that success is not determined by how naturally bright someone is. What matters is having the determination to continue.

“𝐃𝐥𝐢 𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐝 𝐦𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐛𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭. 𝐀𝐧𝐠 𝐝𝐚𝐩𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐩𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐝𝐨 𝐤𝐚 𝐬𝐚 𝐩𝐚𝐠-𝐬𝐤𝐰𝐞𝐥𝐚.”

His favorite reminder captures this belief perfectly:
