PCCI welcomes simpler BIR exit procedures for businesses

The Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI) on Friday welcomed the Bureau of Internal Revenue’s (BIR) streamlined rules for closing business registrations, saying the changes would ease compliance burdens and help prevent penalties from piling up for shuttered firms.
