On June 25, 2026, the Muslim Student Organization successfully held its 6th Baccalaureate Service at the FAIS/Graduate School Library, Davao Oriental State University โ Main Campus, bringing together graduating Muslim students for a meaningful gathering of reflection, prayer, and inspiration before they embark on the next chapter of their lives.
The program commenced with an inspiring Opening Remarks by Dr. Hasmera M. Pacio, who encouraged the graduates to embrace the future with faith, resilience, and purpose. The ceremony was later concluded with heartfelt Closing Remarks from Assistant Professor Djoanna S. Mama, reminding everyone that graduation is not merely the end of an academic journey, but the beginning of a lifelong commitment to learning and service.
The highlight of the event was the Baccalaureate Message delivered by Alim Amador O. Tandalong, whose words centered on the values of integrity and service to the Ummah. He reminded the graduates that the knowledge they have acquired is an amanahโa trust from Allah (SWT)โto be exercised with honesty, humility, and compassion. True success, he emphasized, is found not only in personal achievement but in using one's education to uplift others and contribute positively to the Ummah.
As our graduates step into a new season of life, may they remain steadfast in their faith, uphold integrity in every decision, and dedicate their talents in service to humanity for the sake of Allah.
May Allah (SWT) bless the Class of 2026 with beneficial knowledge, righteous character, and success in both this world and the Hereafter. Ameen.
