In no particular order, DOrSU’s bet for Ms. MASTS 2025, Niña Luz Pamaclawan, secured a spot in the Top 3 of the talent showcased for the Mindanao Association of State Tertiary Schools (MASTS) 2025 with her authentic performance of “Pagpakita ng mga Katigam gikan sang Sayaw, tugtug aw Dawot,” featuring traditional Mandaya singing, dancing, and instrumental playing. The showcase was held tonight at the Misamis Occidental Provincial Athletic Complex (MOPAC).

The Talent Portion accounts for 15% of the overall preliminary score, a key factor in securing a spot in the finals on October 30.

In the wake of the Manay earthquake, donating and helping become sacred acts of presence, empathy, and healing. When we extend care to those in crisis, we embody Watson’s belief that every touch, every gesture, every gift is a moment of shared humanity.

The Student Nurses of Davao Oriental State University have come together to give their time and effort to support the donation drive led by the Proactive and United Legion of Student Nurses Organization (PULSO). Student nurses, alumni, the Faculty of Nursing and Allied Health Sciences, and other kind-hearted individuals have contributed monetary donations, food, bottled water, linens, and comforters to answer the call for help in the community of Manay, Davao Oriental. In this situations, nursing becomes more than just a clinical practice, it becomes an act of advocacy, compassion, and sensibility for culture.

The Commission on Higher Education (CHED), in partnership with Bulacan State University, will conduct the 𝗦𝗨𝗖 𝗙𝗮𝗶𝗿 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 with the theme “𝑺𝑨𝑳𝑰𝑵𝑮𝑮𝑨𝑾𝑰: 𝑩𝒓𝒊𝒅𝒈𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑯𝒆𝒓𝒊𝒕𝒂𝒈𝒆 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑰𝒏𝒏𝒐𝒗𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏”, to be held at 𝑪𝒍𝒂𝒓𝒌, 𝑨𝒏𝒈𝒆𝒍𝒆𝒔 𝑪𝒊𝒕𝒚, 𝑷𝒂𝒎𝒑𝒂𝒏𝒈𝒂, 𝒐𝒏 𝑵𝒐𝒗𝒆𝒎𝒃𝒆𝒓 26–28, 2025. One of the featured events is the 𝗙𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿-𝗦𝗨𝗖 𝗗𝗲𝗯𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽, which brings together the finest student debaters from across the country.
