We are so happy to be part of the Year End Climb 2025! Thank you to Emburnal Trekkers for having us. From Banayan Peak to Banayan Falls, it was a great time. Some people could not reach the very top, but everyone finished the activity and that is wonderful!

In the wake of the recent quake, the TALUN Mountaineers, in partnership with the Papa and Lola Foundation and our generous sponsors, extended food packs to the residents of Purok Buwan, Brgy. Holy Cross, Manay, Davao Oriental. 🌾💚

We are deeply grateful for everyone who made this possible — your kindness has brought comfort to families rebuilding their strength and hope.

For those who wish to continue sharing their blessings, please reach those two nearby puroks next to Purok Buwan which are the Purok Magamay and Purok Tapaok. Reach also those who are nestled farther in the upland where many are still waiting for aid. Every little help counts. 🙏🏼

UPDATE: TALUN MOUNTAINEERS OUTREACH POSTPONED

Our team was set to travel to Barangay Luban today for SMILES BEYOND, our outreach and feeding program for the children and families of Purok Talucanga. However, due to the 7.6 magnitude earthquake that struck earlier, we have decided to postpone the activity for everyone’s safety.

We’ve already purchased all the necessities for the program — including some perishable goods — and we’re doing our best to store and preserve them until it’s safe to proceed. Rest assured, our commitment to bring smiles and share joy with the community of Luban remains firm.

For now, let’s keep one another in our thoughts and pray for everyone’s safety. Please continue to take care and stay alert.
