Our final day of the BSP & GSP School Encampment 2026 began with a peaceful 𝗦𝗰𝗼𝘂𝘁𝘀 𝗢𝘄𝗻, giving us a moment to reflect on the lessons learned and the friendships made.

With our spirits recharged, we hit the trail for a 𝗠𝗼𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗛𝗶𝗸𝗲 to Federico’s Resort! It wasn’t just a walk; it was a final test of our endurance and unity. 🥾💦

Now, we’re celebrating our success by the water!

𝘿𝙖𝙮 2: 𝙋𝙪𝙨𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙇𝙞𝙢𝙞𝙩𝙨 & 𝙏𝙚𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙂𝙧𝙞𝙩! 🧗‍♂️💦

We started the morning with a blast—literally! After a high-energy Zumba session, the Bureau of Fire gave us the ultimate wake-up call with a refreshing morning shower. 🚒🚿

Then, things got serious. Huge thanks to the MDRRMO for guiding us through the Rope Challenges. From conquering the Money Bridge and Spider Web to the heart-pounding Rappelling, we proved that we are "United in rotherhood and Sisterhood" through every obstacle. 🫡

We’re capping off the night with the highly anticipated BSP & GSP Search! 👑✨

Day 1 of the BSP & GSP School Encampment 2026 is officially in the books! We began our journey with a moment of 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽, followed by a spirited 𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 where we reaffirmed our commitment to the scouting movement.

As night fell, the 𝗧𝗼𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲 illuminated our path, leading us to the heart of the camp—the Campfire. Under the stars, we celebrated the bonds that make us one. 🏕️🔥

The call has been sounded, and this January, it’s time for the Scouters of Matanao National High School to rise with courage, unity, and pride! 💚✨

From January 23–25, 2026, our School-Based BSP & GSP Encampment will be more than just tents and campfires, it will be a battlefield of growth, a stage for leadership, and a celebration of resilience. 🏕️🔥

Like the anthem of Salute by Little Mix, we march together, shoulder to shoulder, with strength that cannot be broken and voices that cannot be silenced. Every challenge we face will awaken the leader within us, every activity will forge bonds that last, and every step will remind us that we are part of something bigger, bolder, and stronger.

Expect days filled with adventure, teamwork, and discovery, where courage is tested, friendships are strengthened, and the spirit of scouting shines brighter than ever. This is not just a camp; it’s a movement. A movement of sisterhood, brotherhood, and unstoppable unity. So pack your courage, bring your energy, and let’s make this encampment a living anthem of strength, pride, and resilience. Because when Scouters stand tall and march forward, nothing can hold us back.

The Chief Girl Scout Medal represents the highest distinction conferred by the Girl Scouts of the Philippines (GSP) upon Senior and Cadet members who have demonstrated exemplary leadership, service, and achievement. 𝑴𝒂𝒕𝒂𝒏𝒂𝒐 𝑵𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒂𝒍 𝑯𝒊𝒈𝒉 𝑺𝒄𝒉𝒐𝒐𝒍 𝑮𝑺𝑷: 𝑨 𝑴𝒆𝒂𝒏𝒊𝒏𝒈𝒇𝒖𝒍 𝑩𝒆𝒈𝒊𝒏𝒏𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒕𝒐 𝑮𝒊𝒓𝒍 𝑺𝒄𝒐𝒖𝒕 𝑾𝒆𝒆𝒌

With the theme “Once a Girl Scout, Always a Girl Scout,” Matanao National High School GSP proudly launched the first week of Girl Scout Week with enthusiasm, unity, and purpose. The celebration began with Girls’ Day, where our scouts were empowered through a self-defense workshop led by the DTA Matanao Defenders. This activity not only equipped the girls with practical skills for personal safety but also instilled confidence and a deeper sense of self-worth, reminding them that strength and resilience are core to every Girl Scout.

The week continued with Environmental Day, a meaningful opportunity for the scouts to demonstrate their commitment to community and sustainability. Through a Clean-Up Drive at Magallanes River, the girls worked hand in hand to restore and protect the local environment. Their efforts reflected the values of responsibility and care for nature, showing that even small actions can lead to lasting impact when done with heart and purpose.

This successful first week stands as a testament to the dedication and spirit of the Girl Scouts of Matanao National High School. Each activity was a reflection of their growth as leaders and changemakers, guided by the timeless principles of the scouting movement. As the celebration continues, our scouts carry forward the promise to serve, lead, and inspire, because "Once a Girl Scout, always a Girl Scout."
