Theme: LEGACY WALKโ€”REVISITING OUR ROOTS-YEAR 2

This yearโ€™s Arbor Day celebration was not about planting new trees, but about nurturing the ones we have already planted. Our Legacy Walk reminds us that planting is only the beginning โ€” the true test of stewardship is in sustaining, protecting, and caring for what we have started.

We sincerely thank the CENRO staff representing Maโ€™am Loreta Baldonaza for their continued guidance in our environmental programs.

We also extend our gratitude to our Municipal Mayor Hon. Bernandino G. Tacoy, whose leadership inspires our legacy of care, together with Vice Mayor Romeo N. Albarida and the SB Officials, the Liga ng mga Barangay Kap. Joel Tacoy, and the Barangay Officials of San Vicente headed by Punong Brgy. Edgardo Apuya. Our appreciation also to our community partners and selected LGU employees & BFP of Matag-ob, whose dedication and active participation make this Legacy truly meaningful.

Most importantly, we proudly recognize the participation of all 21 barangays across Matag-ob, who simultaneously conducted nurturing activities in their respective planting sites.

This collective effort shows that environmental stewardship is not confined to one place, but is a shared responsibility embraced by the entire municipality.

๐Ÿ’š Every step we took today was a step toward resilience, stewardship, and hope. Together, we are revisiting our roots, nurturing our legacies, and ensuring that the trees we planted continue to thrive for generations to come.
