Isang 16-anyos na Boy Scout mula sa Kabacan, Cotabato ang kinilala matapos mailigtas ang buhay ng isang nalunod na lalaki sa isang resort noong July 12.

Agad na nagsagawa si Scout Rexel Joaquin Codilla Mangliwan ng CPR gamit ang mga kasanayang natutunan niya sa Boy Scouts of the Philippines Emergency Service Training Course, hanggang sa magkamalay ang biktima bago ito isinugod sa ospital.

Ayon sa BSP, ipinakita ni Scout Rexel ang kahalagahan ng pagiging handa sa oras ng sakuna, na nagpapatunay sa diwa ng kasabihang: "A Scout is Prepared. A Scout Saves Lives."

Hindi lamang ito seremonya ng pagsusuot ng uniporme—ito ay pagsusuot ng responsibilidad. Hindi lamang ito pagtanggap ng insignia—ito ay pagtanggap ng panata na maging laging handa sa paglilingkod.

🔷Hinihikayat ang mga magulang at tagapag-alaga na regular na kumustahin ang kanilang mga anak at suriin ang kanilang mga bag bago sila pumasok sa paaralan.

Muling pinagtibay ni Education Secretary Sonny Angara ang commitment ng Department of Education (DepEd) na patuloy na palakasin ang mga programa para sa kaligtasan, kapakanan, at holistikong paghubog ng mga mag-aaral, habang kinikilala ang Scouting bilang mahalagang katuwang sa pagtuturo ng disiplina, paglilingkod, at kahandaan sa mga kabataang Pilipino.

Look as the Masbate National Comprehensive High School Senior Scouts participated as the Search and Rescue Team during the National Simultaneous Earthquake Drill conducted on June 18, 2026 at the Annex Campus.

The drill aims to promote and evaluate preparedness in the event of an earthquake, especially since Masbate is located on an active fault line.

The Masbate National Comprehensive High School Senior Scouts successfully conducted their Court of Honor and Command Turnover Ceremony on the 5th of June 2026, at the MNCHS Centennial Auditorium.

The Outfit has produced six new Explorer Scouts, two new Pathfinder Scouts, and three new Outdoor Scouts.

The Outfit also takes pride in producing seven new Eagle Scout Awardees:
