Kabataang Empowered, Kabataang Secured! ✨

Today, Kabataang FPOP Masbateño successfully conducted a Webinar about “EMPOWHER TALK: Usapang ASRH para sa Ligtas na Pagpapasya” in celebration of Girl Child Week in partnership with DILG Masbate. 💜

Isang makabuluhang talakayan ang naibahagi sa kabataan tungkol sa Adolescent S*xual and Reproductive Health (ASRH) particularly Comprehensive S*xuality Education (CSE) mula sa informed decision-making, HIV awareness, hanggang sa kahalagahan ng access sa tama at maaasahang impormasyon. Patunay ito na kapag binibigyan ng tamang kaalaman ang kabataan, mas nagiging handa sila sa ligtas at responsableng pagpapasya.

Lubos po kaming nagpapasalamat sa DILG Masbate sa pakikipagtulungan at suporta upang maisakatuparan ang makabuluhang aktibidad na ito. 💙

Maraming salamat din sa mga SK Officers na dumalo mula sa iba’t ibang barangay ng Probinsya ng Masbate. Nawa ay mas tumatag ang ating pagtutulong upang masugpo ang iba’t-ibang isyung pangkalusugan at sekswal ng mga kabataan.

Patuloy nating isulong ang kaalaman, karapatan, at empowerment para sa bawat kabataan—lalo na para sa bawat batang babae.

Young people are often inspired by the care, guidance, and values they receive from their families, faith communities, and the people around them. For some Kabataang FPOP members, these teachings motivated them to become SRHR advocates. Yet the reality today is that many families and communities are not always given the support or tools to talk openly to their children about growing up and making informed choices that protect their bodies, relationships, and s*xual well-being. For some young people, trusted adults and parents may not always be present for every important conversation, while others may lack the confidence to feel safe and comfortable discussing these crucial topics with the adults in their lives.

Access to comprehensive s*xuality education that empowers young people with knowledge and adolescent-friendly services that protect their health, dignity, and rights is essential in helping them navigate these realities safely. At the same time, by equipping and capacitating not only parents but also educators, peers, and other duty bearers to provide rights-based guidance, we can ensure that young people have reliable and trusted sources of information and care within their communities.

As the Committee on Youth and Sports convenes tomorrow in the House of Representatives to discuss the Adolescent Pregnancy Prevention Bill, Kabataang FPOP affirms that such a legislative measure has the potential to empower communities to support and guide every young person with the knowledge, care, protection and respect they rightfully deserve.

On March 3, 2026, the Business Simulation Conference: From Vision to Victory – The Work Immersion Simulation Conference and Recognition Night was successfully held at the MNCHS Auditorium.

CSE Session | MNCHS Work Immersion Interns 💙📚

Another set of meaningful and engaging Comprehensive S*xuality Education (CSE) sessions was successfully conducted for the Masbate National Comprehensive High School work immersion interns at the FPOP Masbate Chapter Office last February 20 and 23, 2026.

Through open discussions and interactive learning, the interns deepened their understanding of key SRHR topics and strengthened their awareness as future advocates of informed and responsible choices.

Empowering young minds continues—because education is the best foundation for safe, healthy, and rights-based communities. ✨

Outreach with a Purpose 💙

Last February 12, 2026, we conducted an Outreach with Partner in partnership with Tau Gamma Phi Fraternity & Sorority at the Masbate Police Station.

The activity provided free condoms, an engaging HIV 101 discussion, and confidential HIV counseling and screening. Participants also accessed family planning commodities through our “Safety Pantry.”

Stronger partnerships, wider reach, and shared commitment to promoting safe, informed, and responsible choices in the community. ✨

Learning beyond the classroom 📚✨

Last February 3, 2025, the Work Immersion students of Masbate National Comprehensive High School joined us at the FPOP Masbate Chapter Office for an engaging Comprehensive S*xuality Education (CSE) session.

We had meaningful discussions on Human Rights and SRHR, S*x and Gender, SGBV, Teenage Pregnancy, HIV, Family Planning, and Mental Health—real topics, real conversations, and real awareness.

Empowering young minds with the right knowledge today means building responsible and informed leaders tomorrow. 💙
