APRIL 23....

Today is International Pet Missing Day—a reminder of the beloved animals who once walked into our lives and, one day, never found their way back home.

They are deeply missed by those who waited, searched, and hoped for their return. Though they are no longer beside us, the love they gave remains, along with the uncertainty and longing they left behind.

May this day honor their memory, acknowledge the pain of their absence, and keep alive the hope that they are safe wherever they may be.

You may post in the comment section the photo of your beloved missing animal, praying that they too are safe and sound, wherever they are....

𝗔𝗻𝗶𝗺𝗮𝗹 𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗳𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗱𝘃𝗼𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀 (including pet owners, rescuers, and 𝘃𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘁𝘀) braved the summer heat as they beat the heat cycle of cats and dogs in the 𝗟𝗼𝘄-𝗖𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗞𝗮𝗽𝗼𝗻 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁 in 𝙀𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙚𝙡𝙡𝙖 𝙃𝙤𝙢𝙚𝙨 𝙈𝙖𝙧𝙞𝙡𝙖𝙤, 𝘽𝙪𝙡𝙖𝙘𝙖𝙣.

Kami po ay naging bahagi ng proyektong “𝐅𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐒𝐩𝐚𝐲/𝐂𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐚 𝐬𝐚 𝐦𝐠𝐚 𝐀𝐬𝐨 𝐚𝐭 𝐏𝐮𝐬𝐚” na pinangunahan ng Municipal Veterinary Services Office - Marilao.

Nagpapasalamat po kami sa lokal na pamahalaan ng Marilao, na mula noon hanggang ngayon ay tumutugon sa suliranin ng pagdami ng stray animals.

Sa diwa ng aming adbokasiya, makakaasa po kayo sa aming tulong at suporta sa mga susunod pang programa. 🐾

Hope traveled from Marilao to Mandaluyong as 23 cat rescues from Marilao participated in the free KAPON event organized by Biyaya Animal Care. Through the kindness and shared efforts of stray feeders, rescuers, and adopters, the furbabies were safely transported—each one carrying a story and a chance for a better life.

Around 500 cats from various parts of Luzon received free spay and neuter services, along with free anti-rabies vaccinations from the Biyaya Animal Care. It was more than just a medical mission—it was a collective act of compassion for the voiceless.

We are deeply thankful to Ms. Rina Ortiz, CEO and Founder of Biyaya Animal Care, for starting this humbling and transformative movement. Her unwavering dedication continues to empower animal rescuers, advocates, stray feeders, pet owners, and pet transporters nationwide.

With hopeful hearts, we look forward to welcoming Biyaya Animal Care in Marilao someday, so more lives can be saved, protected, and given a brighter future.

As we draw closer to the end of January,

We pause to honor the community animals and pets we have come to love so deeply.

A life as a stray is filled with uncertainty—often marked by suffering, cruelty, and loneliness. It is a painful path, a kind of path our beloved community animals were forced to walk on, many walking too far... too long.

So we chose to walk beside them, to let them feel—if only for a time—that they were cared for, loved, given a name, and that they truly mattered.

Farewell for now, our precious babies.
We believe we will meet again, in a place where you are all healthy, safe, and loved unconditionally.

You are missed every single day.😇
