We are proud to be part of and support the Department of Trade and Industry – National Capital Regional Office (DTI-NCRO) in its Bamboo Planting Activity at La Mesa Dam, held in celebration of Philippine Bamboo Month and World Bamboo Day 2026.

As part of the activity, a bamboo tree was planted and dedicated in the name of FFAA Inc. This simple yet meaningful gesture represents our commitment to supporting sustainability, responsible enterprise, and initiatives that create opportunities for Filipino communities.

For Filipino Footwear Alliance Association, Inc. (FFAA Inc.), growth is not only about building businesses but also about nurturing our environment and investing in a sustainable future.

Another huge milestone for local footwear and FFAA is immensely proud!

During its welcome gathering, FASHIONPhilippines brought together designers, industry leaders, buyers, and advocates of Philippine design to celebrate local creativity on the world stage.

Among those who joined were Karen Giberson of the Accessories Council, Rowell Concepcion of Binata Millinery, Rafe Totengco of Rafe NYC, Consul Juan Carlos C. Borromeo of the Philippine Consulate General in New York, and Asec. Alma Argayoso of PTIC-New York.

It was an evening of introductions, conversations, and inspiring connections, firmly cementing Philippine design on the New York fashion map.

A Proud Milestone for the Footwear Industry in the Philippines.

The Filipino Footwear Alliance Association Inc. (FFAA) is deeply honored to receive this Citation of Recognition from the Regional Small and Medium Enterprise Development (SMED) Council – National Capital Region (NCR) and the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI-NCRO).

This citation recognizes FFAA’s leadership, steadfast support, and collective dedication to championing Filipino talent on the global stage, leading to our delegation’s historic wins at the International Footwear Design Competition (IFDC) 2026 in Guangzhou, China:

Stepping Towards Innovation: FFAA at the Global Textile Congress

The Filipino Footwear Alliance Association Incorporated (FFAA) headed by our President Ms. Mia Santos took part in the prestigious Global Textile Congress at Ang Bahay ng Alumni, UP Diliman.

Representing the alliance were Chairman & Mentor Mr. Roger S. Py and distinguished members of the Board of Directors, joining industry pioneers, researchers, and government leaders to explore sustainable materials, technological advancements, and the future of circular production.

We thank DOST-PTRI for inviting us & we are honored to be part of this event.

Footwear and textiles go hand in hand. FFAA’s presence at the congress highlights our active pursuit of:
