The Philippine Association of Diabetes Care and Education Nurse Specialists, Inc. (PADCENS) stands firm in upholding ethical nursing practice, patient safety, and compliance with applicable laws and professional standards.

In light of concerns regarding the compounding and dispensing of tirzepatide by nurses, PADCENS reiterates that all healthcare professionals must practice within their legal scope of authority, qualifications, and institutional responsibilities.

We strongly encourage all nurses and diabetes care professionals to uphold the highest standards of professionalism, ensure the proper handling of prescription medications, and prioritize patient welfare above all else.

Patient safety is our shared responsibility. Professional accountability is non-negotiable.

The Philippine Association of Diabetes Educators, Inc. (PADE) officially opens nominations for the Board of Trustees for C.Y. 2027–2028. We are inviting visionary, passionate, and dedicated healthcare leaders to step forward and guide our organization into its next chapter of excellence.

If you know an active PADE member—or are yourself a PADE member—committed to advancing diabetes education, clinical practice, and patient advocacy, we strongly encourage you to submit a nomination! Please note that eligible nominees must be active Regular or Life Members of PADE in good standing for at least two (2) years. Help us lead the movement toward higher standards in diabetes prevention, care, and management!

📌 𝐐𝐔𝐀𝐋𝐈𝐅𝐈𝐂𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍𝐒 𝐅𝐎𝐑 𝐍𝐎𝐌𝐈𝐍𝐄𝐄𝐒:
