We’re happy to see the Marikina LGU taking the initiative to conduct the bike count. 🙌🏻

Being out on the ground shows a real commitment to understanding how people move around the city and to making active transportation a bigger priority.

We can only improve what we can measure. And we hope the data gathered helps shape better, safer, and more efficient infrastructure, not just for Marikeños, but for everyone here in Metro Manila . 🩷🩵💛

Happy Pedal Project is kicking off our August comeback with a total of 4 rides — 2 of which are collabs, and the remaining 2, our usuals.

It seems like making our Thursday Rides bi-monthly didn’t really clear our calendar, but hey! We love where things are heading. 🚲

We missed you, so see you on Sunday at Localhost Coffee & Co.’s Nomikai: Ugoku 動く! 🩷🩵💛

Coffee is almost always part of every cyclist’s ride. ☕🚲 So when these two invites came in, it was pretty hard to say no.

First stop: the PDYN Forums at Olenna. We rode our Popcycle Friends straight to QC and hung out over coffee while waiting for Padayon.cc to arrive from their ride. We also caught Mark Arthur’s talk about his Philippine Loop journey and how his every challenge became more than just distance, but a milestone. Something we, like any other cyclist, aspire for ourselves.

Next stop: Greenhills for the opening of Kado Kohi’s second branch. While their first cafe is in Marikina, some of us have already become fans, not just because of their Japanese-style coffee, but because they welcome cyclists with bike racks. So we were excited to see them grow and even more grateful to be invited to celebrate with them.

The rain had us staying a little longer at Kado. And honestly, we didn’t mind. More time over coffee meant more stories shared, more getting-to-know conversations, and more reasons to keep building this community together.

We love seeing more bike-friendly spaces and initiatives bloom. Every new conversation, every welcoming cafe, and every community gathering brings us one step closer to cities where cycling isn’t just accepted, but a huge part of everyday life.

Thanks for having us today. See you on the road and hopefully for another cup of coffee soon. 🩷🩵💛
