ALTERNATIVE WORK ARRANGEMENTS FOR GOVERNMENT OFFICES, ALTERNATIVE LEARNING MODES FOR SCHOOLS ON SEPTEMBER 10

Pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 135, government offices are directed to implement appropriate alternative work arrangements in the National Capital Region and the following provinces on September 10, 2026, in anticipation of continued heavy rainfall associated with the enhanced Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) and the cumulative effects of prolonged rainfall:

๐Ÿ“ National Capital Region (NCR)
๐Ÿ“ La Union
๐Ÿ“ Pangasinan
๐Ÿ“ Benguet
๐Ÿ“ Bataan
๐Ÿ“ Bulacan
๐Ÿ“ Pampanga
๐Ÿ“ Zambales
๐Ÿ“ Batangas
๐Ÿ“ Cavite
๐Ÿ“ Laguna
๐Ÿ“ Rizal
๐Ÿ“ Occidental Mindoro
๐Ÿ“ Oriental Mindoro

Unless otherwise directed by their respective Local Chief Executives, alternative learning modes for classes at all levels in public and private schools shall be implemented in the aforementioned areas.

Agencies involved in the delivery of basic and health services, disaster preparedness and response, and other vital services shall continue their operations and render the necessary services.

Contract of Service (COS) and Job Order (JO) workers placed under alternative work arrangements shall be paid their corresponding wages or salaries, subject to applicable rules and regulations.

The suspension of work or adoption of alternative work arrangements in the private sector shall be left to the discretion of management.

In preparation for the Division Palaro Opening 2026, the School Emergency Response Team (SERT) conducted a refresher activity at the PLMar SHS Campus.

Special thanks to PLMar Emergency Response Team for giving us the opportunity to learn and for sharing their valuable knowledge and expertise.

Through this activity, our SERT members are equipped with the knowledge, skills, and readiness needed to respond to emergencies and help ensure the safety and well-being of everyone throughout the event.
