Now, 104 years later, we are a global network of Soroptimist federations with more than 65,000 members across six continents! 💜✨ Building Bridges Through Communication ✨💜

Last July 27, Soroptimist International Marikina Metro (SIMM) proudly supported a Communication and Proposal Writing Workshop facilitated by Lavi Penaverde of Opus Ad Lucem at Colegio de Sta. Rosa, Makati.

The workshop was attended by the members of Solidaridad-IDP Foundation Inc., - the social arm of the Prelature of Isabela de Basilan, and the Dominican Missionary Sisters of the Rosary. It was a day filled with learning, meaningful dialogue, and empowerment—equipping participants with tools to communicate effectively and foster stronger community connections. 🌸

SIMM remains committed to supporting initiatives that uplift and strengthen organizations dedicated to service and development. Together, we continue to create a ripple of positive change! 💛

Soroptimist International Marikina Metro (SIMM) proudly supports the BFCT BAGSAKAN located along Marcos Highway in Marikina, where fresh produce is sourced directly from the hardworking farmers of SRT ALCALA MULTI-PURPOSE COOPERATIVE OF PANGASINAN, a member of the High Value Crop Producers Association of the Philippines.

Through this initiative, SIMM helps bring farm-fresh fruits and vegetables closer to our local communities while ensuring that our dear farmers get fair opportunities and livelihood support. 🌱

This is more than just buying produce — it’s about uplifting lives, sustaining agriculture, and strengthening partnerships that benefit us all.
