Following the earlier announcement regarding the conduct of 𝐬𝐲𝐧𝐜𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐨𝐮𝐬 𝐨𝐧𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐜𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐨𝐝𝐚𝐲, please be informed that the 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐆𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐚 has announced the suspension of classes due to the prevailing weather and safety conditions.

In view of this announcement, 𝐬𝐲𝐧𝐜𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐨𝐮𝐬 𝐨𝐧𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐜𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐨𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐬𝐮𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐝. To ensure continuity of learning, classes will transition to an 𝐚𝐬𝐲𝐧𝐜𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐨𝐮𝐬 𝐦𝐨𝐝𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲. Professors/instructors will post the necessary learning activities, materials, and announcements through their respective 𝐆𝐨𝐨𝐠𝐥𝐞 𝐂𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐫𝐨𝐨𝐦𝐬.

Students are advised to 𝐫𝐞𝐠𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐲 𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐜𝐤 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐫 𝐆𝐨𝐨𝐠𝐥𝐞 𝐂𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐫𝐨𝐨𝐦𝐬 and coordinate with their respective professors/instructors for any instructions and assigned activities.

In accordance with the announcement of the 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐆𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐚, all 𝐟𝐚𝐜𝐞-𝐭𝐨-𝐟𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐲𝐧𝐜𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐨𝐮𝐬 𝐨𝐧𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐜𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐬 in all levels, both public and private schools, are 𝐬𝐮𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐫𝐨𝐰, 𝐀𝐮𝐠𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝟏𝟑, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 (𝐓𝐡𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐝𝐚𝐲) due to the rising water level of the Marikina River. 🌧️

However, 𝐚𝐬𝐲𝐧𝐜𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐨𝐮𝐬 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐮𝐞. Students are advised to coordinate with their respective teachers and stay updated regarding assigned activities and requirements.

In accordance with the advisory of the Marikina City Government, classes in all levels at OLOPSC are suspended tomorrow, Thursday, August 13, 2026, due to the rising water level of the Marikina River, which has reached 1st Alarm (15 meters).

Bilang pag-iingat at upang matiyak ang kaligtasan ng ating mga mag-aaral, g**o, at school personnel, SUSPENDIDO ang FACE-TO-FACE at ONLINE CLASSES sa LAHAT NG ANTAS, sa mga pampubliko at pampribadong paaralan sa Lungsod ng Marikina BUKAS, August 7, 2026.

Ang kaligtasan at kapakanan ng bawat taga-Marikina ang lagi nating inuuna.

✨Student Townhall 2026✨

Freshies, Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors gathered last Tuesday, August 4, 2026, at the OLOPSC DS Hall – Main Campus for a day filled with excitement, inspiration, and new beginnings. 💡💙

The program featured energetic performances, the oath-taking ceremony of the newly elected student officers, meaningful discussions, and inspiring messages that encouraged every OLOPSCian to stay motivated and strive for excellence throughout the academic year.

The event also celebrated the achievements of the well-deserved awarding of our Dean's Listers, honoring their dedication, perseverance, and academic excellence. 👏🏅

After the Townhall, students participated in the College Conference Meeting, where they were engaged in a discussions led by different offices, including the Disaster Risk Reduction Office, College Clinic, Library, and the Dean’s Office.

The conference warmly welcomed our freshmen, announced different awards and activities, and announced the exciting initiatives from the Organization of College Students (OCS), including the launch of the new OCS organization shirts and other upcoming projects. To make the event even more memorable, students also enjoyed fun games, karaoke, exciting prizes, and interactive activities that brought the OCS community closer together. 🎉✨
