Alhamdulillah...Praise Be To Allah...

Salaam Police Advocacy Group (SPAG) Maigo, under the leadership of SPAG Maigo President, Ustaadh Joery “Abdurahman” Subrado, and under SPAG Region 10 led by Regional President, Ms. Mialet C. Sani, successfully conducted its Da’wah and Community Outreach Program to the Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs) at the Provincial District Jail in Baroy, Lanao del Norte, on May 18, 2026.

The activity focused on sharing Islamic reminders, moral guidance, and words of encouragement to the PDLs, reminding them about repentance, patience, and hope in the mercy of Allah سبحانه وتعالى. The outreach aimed to inspire the inmates to strengthen their faith and become better individuals despite their current situation.

This activity reflects the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, who taught Muslims to show compassion, visit those in hardship, and guide others towards righteousness and repentance. Through simple acts of kindness and sincere Da’wah, hearts may change and lives may be renewed.

On May 18, 2026, the SPAG Caraga led by RP Rey C. Murillon, together with the SPAG Bayugan City headed by CP Rashid S. Ali, and SPAG Taglatawan led by Pres. Manny E. Banda, along with their officers and members, attended a Pulong-Pulong initiated by PCOL YAHYA BUSTAMANTE YUSUP, Provincial Director of Agusan del Sur Provincial Police Office, together with PLTCOL JOSEF CARLO V. SILANG, Chief of Police of Bayugan City Police Station.

The activity focused on the peace and order situation within the Area of Responsibility (AOR), where the community was encouraged to continuously support the Philippine National Police (PNP) in its intensified campaign against criminality and all forms of illegal activities.

Moreover, the SPAG members were encouraged to join forces with the PNP in providing security assistance throughout the conduct of Palaro AgSur 2026 to help ensure a safe, peaceful, and orderly event.

The gathering was held at the Islamic Center, Purok 2B, Brgy. Taglatawan, Bayugan City, Agusan del Sur.
