It is an independent and socio-civic oriented youth organization based in Mindanao State University - Main Campus.

The Inspired Young Optimists Guild (IYOG) held its 20th General Assembly on October 12, 2026, welcoming its newest batch of aspirants as they take their first steps into the organization’s Screening Process.

The program began with the opening remarks delivered by IYOG’s current adviser, 𝗔𝘀𝗻𝗮𝗶𝗿𝗮𝗵 𝗥. 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗮, 𝗥𝗣𝗺 (𝗬𝗢𝗚𝗜 𝗠𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗲), and was presided over by 𝗠𝗶𝗲𝗿𝗻𝘆𝘀 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗵 𝗟. 𝗣𝘂𝗼𝗱 (𝗬𝗢𝗚𝗜 𝗠𝗶𝗺𝗶), The General Assembly served as an opportunity for the aspiring YOGIs to meet their fellow aspirants, get to know the members of IYOG, and become more familiar with the organization they hope to be part of.

To encourage interaction, the aspirants participated in a Human Bingo activity, giving them the chance to discover shared interests and get to know one another better.

The program concluded with reminders on the organization’s house rules and important announcements delivered by the current Screening Chairwoman, 𝗕𝗮𝗲 𝗦𝗮𝗺𝘀𝗶𝗮 𝗧𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗼 𝗣𝗮𝘂𝗱𝗮𝗰 (𝗬𝗢𝗚𝗜 𝗣𝗮𝘂𝗱𝘇) guiding the aspirants as they proceed with the Screening Process.

IYOG extends its appreciation to its adviser, Senior and Resident YOGIs for their continued support, and to all the aspiring YOGIs who took part in this gathering. May this be the beginning of meaningful connections, valuable lessons, and a shared commitment to making a difference in the community.

Project ILO (Inspired and Loved Orphans) was successfully implemented by the Inspired Young Optimists Guild (IYOG) last October 11, 2026 at Darul Najah Yateemat in Batal Punud, Marantao Lanao del Sur. Headed by 𝗡𝗮𝘀𝗵𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗱𝗮 𝗦. 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝘂𝗵𝗼𝗺 (Yogi Nada), the outreach initiative was designed to ignite self-esteem, foster confidence, and remind the children of their inherent worth and potential success.

The morning was filled with moments, beginning with an invocation and an introduction of the organization led by Chairwoman, Sitte Raifa B. Mohammadali (Yogi Rain). Followed by Kamustahan session and an engaging icebreaker both facilitated by Adnairah P. Macadato (Yogi Bing²) that made the program alive.

Moreover, essential goods, groceries, cleaning supplies, and preloved clothes were also distributed to support the toril's daily activities as they continue learning the Holy Qur-an. The program wrapped up with a joyful boodle fight that strengthened camaraderie among the morits, facilitators, and ustadz.

Alhamdulillah for a deeply fulfilling day of sharing smiles and hope! A heartfelt gratitude to our generous donors, sponsors, and every YOGI who poured their heart into every stage of this initiative. Your dedication proves that uniting with purpose brings lasting joy!

The Inspired Young Optimists Guild (IYOG) held its 20th Orientation on October 3, 2026. With the tagline “𝗔𝗻 𝗢𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗕𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀,” the program aimed to introduce the organization, its members, and the values that guide its commitment to leadership, volunteerism, and community service.

The program opened with the invocation and the singing of the Philippine National Anthem, followed by the opening remarks of the current Chairwoman of the organization, 𝗦𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗲 𝗥𝗮𝗶𝗳𝗮𝗵 𝗕. 𝗠𝗼𝗵𝗮𝗺𝗺𝗮𝗱𝗮𝗹𝗶 (YOGI Rain) who also introduced IYOG and its members to the aspiring YOGIs. This was followed by the presentation of the Video Track Recording (VTR).

One of the highlights of the orientation was the lecture delivered by Senior YOGI 𝗡𝗼𝗵𝗺𝗮𝗻 𝗞𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗹 (YOGI Nohman) on “The Value of Volunteerism in Community Building.” His discussion provided the aspiring YOGIs with a deeper understanding of the importance of volunteerism in creating positive change and strengthening communities. The lecture was followed by a group role-play activity that allowed the aspirants to apply the lessons discussed. An open forum was then held, giving participants the opportunity to raise questions and learn more about the organization.

The program also featured testimonials from Senior YOGI 𝗔𝗯𝗱𝘂𝗹 𝗡𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗳 𝗠. 𝗠𝗼𝗵𝗮𝗺𝗺𝗮𝗱, 𝗠𝗣𝗔 (YOGI Nash), and Resident YOGI 𝗦𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗲 𝗬𝗮𝘀𝗵𝗿𝗶𝗮 𝗠. 𝗔𝗹𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗼 (YOGI Yashria). Through their shared experiences and insights, the aspirants gained a glimpse of what it means to be part of IYOG and the relationships and experiences that come with being a Yogi.

As the program drew to a close, 𝗕𝗮𝗲 𝗦𝗮𝗺𝘀𝗶𝗮 𝗧𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗼 𝗣𝗮𝘂𝗱𝗮𝗰 (YOGI Paudz) — the Screening Committee’s current Chairwoman delivered the closing remarks, followed by announcements and a photo opportunity to mark the occasion.

IYOG extends its sincere appreciation to our guest lecturer, the members who helped prepare the program, and all the aspiring YOGIs who took part in this milestone. Thank you for sharing your time, effort, and enthusiasm in making this orientation a meaningful gathering.

The Inspired Young Optimists Guild (IYOG) proudly sent delegates to represent the organization at the 𝗔𝗥𝗖𝗦𝗢 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗹𝘆 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 held last October 4 at the Meranaw Cultural Heritage Center (MCHC) MSU-Main Campus. The Inspired Young Optimists Guild (IYOG) successfully concluded its 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗰 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲-𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟳 last September 25 at the 7th Street Mansion Orange Building. Resident officers and leaders gathered to align committee duties, refine internal governance policies, and finalize the official organization roadmap for the current administration.

Throughout the session, the body established clear operational guidelines spanning administrative documentation, transparent financial workflows, property management, and attendance policies. Members locked in key schedules for capacity- building workshops, Income-Generating Projects (IGPs), community initiatives, and flagship projects while establishing a structured peer-mentoring transition framework to ensure long-term stability and leadership continuity.

Alhamdulillah for a productive night of strategic alignment and shared commitment. With a solid roadmap in hand and hearts ready to serve, IYOG is geared up to make a lasting impact this term!

Reflecting on its journey toward building a stronger, more united, and impact-driven organization, the Inspired Young Optimists Guild (IYOG) successfully conducted its Annual Seminar And Assessment Program (ASAP 2026) last September 12 at the Orange Building. Resident YOGIs gathered for an empowering afternoon that combined strategic organizational assessment with an impactful Leadership Seminar facilitated by Senior YOGI, 𝗡𝗼𝗵𝗺𝗮𝗻 𝗞𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗹 (Kuya Nohman).

The event kicked off with a seminar, members transitioned into a World Café-Style assessment to evaluate organizational operations. Rotating through interactive stations, YOGIs reviewed past achievements, analyzed internal systems, and used a Traffic Light classification system to determine key areas to maintain, refine, and initiate for the upcoming administration.

Following interactive group activities—including "Travelling Power," "Fear and Hope," "Describe the Picture," and Situational Acts"—designed to deepen mutual trust, tackle the leader's challenges, and sharpen real world problem-solving skills. YOGIs engaged in honest reflection about member engagement, active listening, and leading without assumptions, underscoring that leadership relies on unity, patience, and effective communication.

𝐴𝑙ℎ𝑎𝑚𝑑𝑢𝑙𝑖𝑙𝑙𝑎ℎ for a productive session of honest reflection, shared vision, and renewed dedication. Grounded in peace and driven by optimism, IYOG continues to lay down solid foundations for an even more impactful year ahead!
