On April 4, 2026, during the Turnover Ceremony and Induction of Officers, I formally stepped down from my role as President with deep gratitude for the trust, support, and shared commitment we have built together. Serving you has been both an honor and a responsibility I will always carry with pride.

I am proud to say that, together, we delivered on our goals and turned plans into meaningful accomplishments. Through strong collaborations with our partners and fellow organizations, we expanded our reach and created lasting impact. Beyond our internal achievements, our charitable initiatives and outreach programs allowed us to serve others and embody the true spirit of leadership, one rooted in compassion and purpose.

Leadership is never about one person. It is about continuity, growth, and the collective vision we uphold. With that, I extend my full support and confidence to the new administration. I believe in their capacity to lead with integrity, passion, and purpose, and I am hopeful for the progress they will bring.

I would also like to express my heartfelt gratitude to my fellow officers who served alongside me throughout this journey. Your dedication, teamwork, and unwavering commitment made every achievement possible. This administration’s success was never the work of one, but of many who shared the same vision and worked tirelessly to bring it to life.

As part of the strengthened collaboration for Project Musa’adah, we are honored to feature one of our key partner organizations—the Swara Bangsa Student Organization (SBSO) of MSU Main Campus–Marawi. SBSO played a vital role in this initiative, especially through their financial support and active participation, helping ensure the successful delivery of assistance and naseeḥah to the fire-affected families in Lamion, Bongao, Tawi-Tawi.

In every trial that comes to our community, we are reminded that hardship does not mean the end of hope. Allah (SWT), in His wisdom, tests His servants, but in every difficulty, He also opens doors for mercy, compassion, and unity among the believers.

The fire incident in Lamion, Bongao, Tawi-Tawi has brought great loss to many of our brothers and sisters. Homes may have been taken by the flames, but faith, patience, and the strength of the Ummah remain. In times like these, we are called to stand together not only to give assistance, but also to lift the hearts and spirits of those who are affected.

Through Project Musa’adah, we hope to extend both help and encouragement. Along with providing essential needs, we also hope to share reminders of patience and trust in Allah (SWT), reminding our brothers and sisters that He is always with those who remain steadfast.

We also extend our sincere gratitude to the Islamic Students’ Government Organization (ISGO) for accepting us as a valued partner in this noble initiative. Your trust and collaboration strengthen this effort and reflect the true spirit of unity and service within the Ummah.

𝐔𝐏𝐃𝐀𝐓𝐄 | 𝐏𝐑𝐎𝐉𝐄𝐂𝐓 𝐌𝐔𝐒𝐀’𝐀𝐃𝐀𝐇 𝐖𝐀𝐕𝐄 2

On March 18, 2026, a meaningful act of unity and compassion took place at Pag-Asa Court, Barangay Pag-Asa, where families affected by the recent fire continue to seek temporary shelter. Through the leadership of the Islamic Student's Government Organization, the 2nd Wave of Project Musa’adah was successfully carried out.

As a supporting partner, we are deeply honored to have contributed to this initiative—an effort that went beyond providing Iftar, but also created a space for spiritual reflection and renewed hope.

A heartfelt naseeḥah titled “𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐭𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐀𝐟𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐠𝐠𝐥𝐞” was delivered by Ustadz Nadzhar H. Maradani, reminding everyone that hardship carries wisdom, and that patience and trust in Allah (SWT) lead to eventual ease and success.

With the collective support of many, 250 meals, along with fruits, water, and warm arroz caldo, were distributed—simple yet meaningful gestures of care and solidarity for the community.

We would also like to extend our sincere appreciation to our partners from MSU Marawi— Aninipot , Gambets, SoPhiA, The Brigade, The Kirim, and the MSU Main Campus - ROTC Unit —whose support and cooperation played a vital role in making this initiative possible. Your commitment reflects the true essence of service and unity.

This initiative stands as a reminder that in times of hardship, we rise together as one Ummah—extending help, strengthening faith, and uplifting one another. Even across distances, hearts remain connected, as people from different places come together with the same intention: to serve, to care, and to bring comfort to those in need.

𝐑𝐀𝐌𝐀𝐃𝐇𝐀𝐍 𝐑𝐄𝐋𝐈𝐄𝐅 𝐅𝐔𝐍𝐃𝐑𝐀𝐈𝐒𝐄𝐑 𝐔𝐏𝐃𝐀𝐓𝐄

Alhamdulillah, a total of ₱11,500 was raised through the combined funds of ₱3,685 remaining from last year’s Iftar Drive 2025 and ₱7,815 collected from this year’s Ramadhan Relief Fundraiser for the fire victims in Tawi-Tawi.

Project Musa’Adah is a humanitarian initiative that brings together shared meals and meaningful spiritual reminders for fire-affected families in Barangay Lamion 2, Bongao, Tawi-Tawi—aiming to uplift hearts, restore hope, and strengthen faith during this difficult time.

From the total fund, ₱10,000 was allocated to support Project Musa’Adah of the Islamic Students' Government Organization - ISGO , held on March 18, 2026, at Pag-Asa Court, Barangay Pag-Asa, Bongao, Tawi-Tawi, while ₱1,500 was extended as assistance to one of our alumna who was also affected by the fire.

We at SBSO are honored to partner with the Islamic Students' Government Organization - ISGO and other student organizations from Sulu in supporting Project Musa’adah (Wave 2) — an initiative providing Iftar, naseeḥah (sincere advice and spiritual guidance), and hope to fire-affected families in Barangay Lamion 2, Bongao, Tawi-Tawi.

While the spotlight is on our Sulu-based partner organizations leading this initiative, we also acknowledge the contributions of our fellow MSU Marawi-based organizations — Aninipot , Gambets, Society of Philosophy Advocatesi, The Brigade, The Kirim, and the MSU Main Campus - ROTC Unit — whose support as donors helped make this effort possible.

Through shared meals, meaningful guidance, and collective support, this project embodies the values of compassion, unity, and faith in uplifting communities during challenging times. The Swara Bangsa Student Organization (SBSO) of Mindanao State University Main Campus – Marawi City held a virtual meeting with the Islamic Students' Government Organization (ISGO) of CIAS, MSU–TCTO on the afternoon of March 14, 2026.

The meeting was conducted to coordinate and formalize the partnership for the Iftar Drive for the fire victims of Lamion II, Bongao, Tawi-Tawi, which is part of ISGO’s Project Musa'Adah.

SBSO extends its appreciation to ISGO for the opportunity to collaborate in this meaningful initiative. This partnership reflects unity and a shared commitment to help those in need.

The Islamic Students' Government Organization (ISGO) of CIAS, MSU–TCTO conducted a virtual meeting with the Swara Bangsa Student Organization (SBSO) of MSU Main Campus–Marawi to formalize a partnership for an Iftar Drive in support of the fire victims of Lamion II in Bongao, Tawi-Tawi.

The meeting, held on March 14, 2026, in the afternoon, was attended by the key officers of ISGO, including Governor Mustashar H. Astarani, and the SBSO Outgoing President, Harith B. Musa. The discussion focused on strengthening coordination and finalizing the necessary details for the successful implementation of the initiative.

ISGO expressed its gratitude and appreciation to the officers and members of SBSO for reaching out and initiating this valuable partnership despite the distance between campuses. The collaboration reflects unity, shared responsibility, and a commitment to serving the community.

𝗔 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗧𝗼𝗴𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀!

On Wednesday, March 11, 2026, the Swara Bangsa Student Organization (SBSO) held a meaningful series of activities focused on community and compassion. The day began with a Clean-Up Drive, showing that even small acts of care can make a big difference.

This was followed by a general meeting, which included the election of officers for A.Y. 2026–2027 and updates on the ongoing Ramadhan Relief Fundraiser 2026. In partnership with the Islamic Student's Government Organization of MSU-TCTO, the fundraiser aims to support fire victims in Lamion, Bongao, Tawi-Tawi.

The day concluded with a heartfelt Iftar gathering, organized as a potluck where each member contributed. It was a moment to share the blessings of Ramadhan and strengthen the bonds within the organization.

As the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said:
