The Department of Marketing and the Junior Entrepreneurship and Marketing Association proudly commenced the 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗖𝘂𝗹𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗗𝗮𝘆 yesterday, June 14, 2026 at the 𝗖𝗮𝗽𝗶𝘁𝗼𝗹 𝗦𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗮𝗹𝗹, bringing a day dedicated to honoring the hard‑earned journey of our interns as real‑world professionals.

Under the inspiring theme "𝐂𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐓𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐨𝐟𝐟: 𝐂𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐉𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐲 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐅𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐟𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐬", our Marketistas reflected on their OJT experiences, shared lessons learned, and celebrated the milestones that will define their careers. In his capacity as MIPO Chief, Dr. Umpa will be responsible for managing the IP Management and Protection office (MIPO) as well as the Technology Transfer and Support Office (TSO) of MSU. The appointment is recognizes his expertise in the field of intellectual property, his academic stature, and his enthusiasm in building a culture of innovation.

Another remarkable milestone has been achieved by the students of Mindanao State University – Main Campus as Team MSU Sultanim proudly represented the university at the 2026 Youth Leaders of Agribusiness Congress (YLAC) held at the University of the Philippines Los Baños, Laguna. 👏

Competing against some of the brightest young minds in the country, the team showcased exceptional analytical and strategic thinking, ultimately earning a 𝐒𝐞𝐦𝐢-𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐭 𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐡 at the 2026 Youth Leaders of Agribusiness Congress (YLAC).
