A youth-led non-profit organization based in MSU-Marawi City, advocating environmental protection, Lake Lanao conservation, and youth leadership through education and volunteerism. The Ranaw Youth Tanggol Kalikasan was successfully founded last December 1, 2014 during the Youth Environmental Awareness Training-Workshop, RANAO WATERSHED RESERVATION held in Kristal Inn, Iligan City with the initiative of OVCRE (Office of Vice Chancellor for Research and Extension and Tanggol kalikasan. The RYTK has its main office in Mamitua Saber Research Center (MSRC), MSU Marawi City. The organization is composed of 40 young youth (as a founders) coming from different municipalities in Lanao Del Sur who shared mutual passion and converge together to make an accomplishment and be a proactive for environmental positive change. RYTK (RANAW YOUTH TANGGOL KALIKASAN) envisions to be the official organization of the Tanggol-Kalikasan (A Public Interest Environmental Law Office) RANAW a well-developed, ecotourism spot, through proactive environmental volunteerism for a sustainable watershed for the people of Mindanao. And to preserve its good environment and natural resources and to serve as arm in promoting the Tanggol-Kalikasan mission to facilitate the empowerment of communities and institutions to manage their ecosystem through law and other creative mechanisms.
