Alhamdulillah! By the mercy of Allah SWT, the 𝗥𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗱𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝗢𝘂𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺, with the theme “𝗟𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗨𝗽𝗼𝗻 𝗟𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁: 𝗘𝘅𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗕𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝗕𝗲𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗺,” was successfully carried out through the collaboration of student councils from Mindanao State University – Main Campus, Marawi. United by the spirit of service during the blessed month of Ramadhan, the 𝗕𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗔𝗱𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗔𝗰𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗰𝘆 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗹 (𝗕𝗔𝗔𝗦𝗖), 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗙𝗶𝘀𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗔𝗾𝘂𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗦𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗹 (𝗖𝗙𝗔𝗦 𝗦𝗖), 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 𝗦𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗹 (𝗖𝗛𝗦-𝗦𝗖), 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗛𝗼𝘀𝗽𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗧𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗺 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗹 (𝗖𝗛𝗧𝗠-𝗦𝗖), 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗰𝘀 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗹 (𝗖𝗡𝗦𝗠 𝗦𝗖), 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗣𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗰 𝗔𝗳𝗳𝗮𝗶𝗿𝘀 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗹 (𝗖𝗣𝗔𝗦𝗖), 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀’ 𝗢𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 (𝗘𝗗𝗦𝗢), 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗹 (𝗘𝗦𝗖), 𝗞𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗙𝗮𝗶𝘀𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀’ 𝗢𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 (𝗞𝗙𝗖𝗦𝗢), and the 𝗠𝗦𝗨 𝗕𝗬𝗧𝗘𝗦 – 𝗖𝗜𝗖𝗦 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗹 came together with one intention: to extend kindness and support to communities beyond the university.
Through the collective efforts of the collaborating councils, a total of ₱𝟲𝟳,𝟬𝟮𝟬 was raised. With these funds, volunteers prepared grocery essentials that were distributed on 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝟳, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 to several torils such as
• 𝗠𝗶𝗵𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗼𝗹 𝗬𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗲𝗺𝗮𝘁 𝗟𝗶𝘁𝗮’𝗹𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗹 𝗤𝘂𝗿’𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗹 𝗞𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗺
• 𝗗𝗮𝗿𝘂𝗹 𝗦𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗵 𝗟𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗵𝗳𝗶𝘇𝗵𝗶𝗹 𝗤𝘂𝗿’𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗹 𝗞𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗺
• 𝗗𝗮𝗮𝗿 𝗔𝗹-𝗛𝘂𝗱𝗮 𝗔𝗻𝗻𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗮’𝗲 𝗟𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗵𝗳𝗶𝗱𝗵𝗲𝗹 𝗤𝘂𝗿’𝗮𝗻 𝗔𝗹-𝗞𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗺
• 𝗕𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘂𝗹 𝗠𝘂𝘀𝗹𝗶𝗺𝗶𝗻 𝘄𝗮𝗹 𝗠𝘂𝘀𝗹𝗶𝗺𝗮𝘁, and
• 𝗗𝗮𝗿𝘂𝗹 𝗛𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗯𝘂𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗵.
In addition, grocery packages were also provided to 𝟳𝟱 𝗳𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗲𝘀 in 𝗣𝗮𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗻, 𝗖𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗴𝗮𝗻, in hopes of easing their needs during this sacred time.
Beyond the act of giving, the outreach also fostered stronger connections among the participating student leaders. After completing the distribution, volunteers gathered at the CHTM Pavilion to break their fast together. The gathering included a short fellowship segment where representatives introduced their respective councils and shared their names. This simple yet meaningful interaction allowed officers from different colleges to get to know one another and strengthened camaraderie among MSU’s student leaders.
The outreach served as a reminder that when hearts and intentions come together, even small efforts can bring light to others. For the student councils of MSU, this initiative was not only about giving assistance—it was about living the values of compassion, unity, and responsibility that Ramadhan teaches.
With grateful hearts, we thank every individual who contributed to this effort. Your generosity, time, and willingness to serve made this outreach possible. May Allah SWT reward all those who took part and continue to guide us in being instruments of goodness for our communities.
