September 7, 2025 | Simuay, Sultan Kudarat, Maguindanao del Norte

The 23rd Moro Youth Peace Camp was successfully conducted on September 4โ€“7, 2025 at the Bangsamoro Leadership and Management Institute (BLMI), bringing together Moro youth leaders, peace advocates, and environmental champions from across the Bangsamoro region.

This yearโ€™s camp was actively participated in by student leaders from private schools in Marawi City as well as members of various youth organizations, strengthening inclusivity and representation in peacebuilding initiatives.

The four-day gathering provided a platform for discussions and workshops focusing on the critical role of youth in bridging social change, promoting peacebuilding, and protecting the environment through nonviolent and sustainable approaches. Participants engaged in interactive sessions that enhanced their leadership capacity, solidarity, and commitment to peaceful community-building.

Now on its 23rd year, the Moro Youth Peace Camp continues to serve as a meaningful space for empowering the next generation of Moro leaders to actively contribute to peace, unity, and sustainable development in the Bangsamoro.

TINGNAN | MARAWI CITY โ€” Mapayapang Pagkilos Laban sa Parliament Bill No. 351

Sa lungsod ng Marawi, nagsagawa ng malawakang paghahanda at mobilisasyon ng RAnow Movement katuwang ang mga kinatawan mula sa mga bayan ng Kapai, Pualas, Lumba Bayabao, Tagoloan, at Tubaran, para sa isang mapayapang rally bilang pagtutol sa Parliament Bill No. 351 na naglalaman ng panukalang redistricting.

Itinuturing ng mga nagpoprotesta na ang nasabing panukala ay hindi makatarungan at labag sa Konstitusyon, sapagkat nagdudulot ito ng hindi patas na representasyon at banta sa tunay na awtonomiya ng Bangsamoro.

Nakikiisa rin sa pagkilos ang ibaโ€™t ibang sektor ng lipunan gaya ng mga tradisyunal na lider, civil society organizations, akademya, sektor legal, kababaihan at kabataan, mga ulama, sektor ng negosyo, midya, mga partidong politikal, at iba pang stakeholder na may malasakit sa kinabukasan ng rehiyon.

Ayon sa mga organisador, ang sama-samang pagtindig ay malinaw na pagpapakita ng iisang tinig ng mga mamamayan na humihiling ng makatarungan at tunay na representasyon sa loob ng Bangsamoro Parliament.
