𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞 | The Holy Month of Ramadhan is a sacred time for Muslims around the world, a time for reflection, prayer, and spiritual growth. It is a time of fasting from sunrise to sunset, a time of increased devotion and worship, and a time for community and fellowship. It is a time to draw closer to Allah, to seek His guidance and forgiveness, and to strengthen one's faith and commitment to Islam.
In honor of this Holy Month, Partido Moro Ako and SARIG, Inc., in collaboration with various organizations and institutions namely the Ranaw Youth Tanggol Kalikasan, Inc. (RYTK), Peace Youth Movement, Mindanao State University-Supreme Student Government, MSU-College of Agriculture Student Council, Moriatao Diwan Young Professionals, and the Bityara Inc., will be conducting their first ever RAMADHAN WEEKLY SEMINAR on March 16, 23, 30 and April 6, 2024 (every Saturday), 1:00PM-4:00PM at MSU-International Convention Center, Marawi City. This seminar aims to provide a platform for learning, discussion, and reflection on various aspects of the Ramadhan month, and to help guide and inspire participants in their spiritual journey.
The lineup of speakers for this seminar is impressive and diverse, bringing together religious scholars, and community leaders with a wealth of knowledge and experience in Islamic teachings and practices.
Atty. Jashim Abdulrahman, a respected legal scholar, will be speaking on the topic of "Ramadhan: A Month of Guidance", highlighting the importance of seeking guidance and wisdom during this sacred time. Shiekh Muhammad Macaraya Bani will be discussing "So Ramadhan o Muhammad S.A.W", exploring the significance of the Prophet Muhammad and his teachings during the month of Ramadhan on March 16, 2024.
Shiekh Nasruddin "Abu Haneen" Abdullah will be sharing insights on "The Virtues of Laylatul Qadr", a night of special significance in the Islamic calendar, and the blessings it brings to those who observe it. Shiekh Abdulcader "Al-jazeera" Abbas Jr. will be focusing on "Being a True Muslim", emphasizing the importance of living according to the principles of Islam and embodying the values of faith and righteousness on March 23, 2024.
Shiekh Isa Ibrahim will be shedding light on "So kaptharimaa ko Simba", a time for self-reflection and introspection on one's actions and intentions. Shiekh Hayyan Dumaraya will be discussing "So Kalbihan o Ramadhan", exploring the spiritual significance and benefits of fasting during the month of Ramadhan on March 30, 2024.
Shiekh Qardhawi "Abu Ziyad" Mamalacat Abdullah will be sharing his insights on "Zakaatul Fitr ago Salatul." And Shiekh Ameen Aloyodan “So Sorga ago so sifat o mga tao ron" on April 6, 2024.
With such a diverse and knowledgeable lineup of speakers, the Ramadhan Weekly Seminar promises to be a rich and enlightening experience for all participants. It is an opportunity to deepen one's understanding of the Islamic faith, to gain new insights and perspectives, and to strengthen one's connection to Allah and the Muslim community.
