In line with this, the Supreme Student Government (SSG), in another partnership with MSU Honors Program, is hosting an online webinar entitled, "๐ฆ๐ง๐จ๐๐๐ก๐ง ๐ฃ๐ข๐๐๐ง๐๐๐ฆ ๐๐ก ๐ฅ๐๐ฃ๐ฅ๐๐ฆ๐๐ก๐ง๐๐ง๐๐ข๐ก: ๐ฃ๐ข๐ช๐๐ฅ, ๐ฅ๐๐ฆ๐ฃ๐ข๐ก๐ฆ๐๐๐๐๐๐ง๐ฌ, ๐๐ก๐ ๐ฉ๐ข๐๐๐.. โ
Now that the SSG Parliamentary Elections is coming and we are electing a new set of student leaders, we are reminded that student politics is not merely about winning positions or gaining influence, but about carrying the responsibility to genuinely represent the voices, struggles, and aspirations of the student body.
Power must be understood as a mandate entrusted by students, responsibility as the commitment to serve with integrity and accountability, and voice as the duty to amplify the concerns of those often unheard within the university.
We are honored to have Hon. Jamal Radia Pandapatan, RSW, who is currently serving as President of Kalombayan Kilos and pride of the University as Top 9 of 2024 SWLE.
This program is part of the SSGโs initiative called the Student Empowerment Series, which aims to empower students, raise awareness on pressing issues, and strengthen advocacy within the university community. It seeks to equip MSUans with the knowledge and confidence to engage, lead, and take part in meaningful conversations and actions for positive change.
