𝗣𝗮𝗴𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗲𝗱, 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗱𝘀 𝘂𝗻𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗸𝗲𝗱, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗞𝗶𝗱𝘀 𝗯𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗱

In a pursuit to empowering and advocating for children’s rights, 𝘕𝘥𝘢𝘺𝘰 𝘵𝘢 𝘬𝘰 𝘔𝘢𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘸 - 𝘗𝘦𝘢𝘤𝘦 𝘈𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘕𝘦𝘵𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘬, in collaboration with the 𝘙𝘢𝘯𝘢𝘸 𝘠𝘰𝘶𝘵𝘩 𝘋𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘭𝘰𝘱𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘊𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘤𝘪𝘭 and 𝘚𝘒 𝘍𝘦𝘥𝘦𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘰𝘧 𝘗𝘶𝘢𝘭𝘢𝘴, sparked a new vision for the children from 𝘗𝘶𝘢𝘭𝘢𝘴 𝘊𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘭 𝘌𝘭𝘦𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘢𝘳𝘺 𝘚𝘤𝘩𝘰𝘰𝘭 as their passion for their fundamental rights were fueled through 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙟𝙚𝙘𝙩 𝙆𝙖𝙗𝙚𝙣𝙖𝙧 𝘼𝙠𝙚𝙣, 𝙆𝙖𝙩𝙤𝙠𝙖𝙬𝙖𝙣 𝘼𝙠𝙚𝙣 (𝙆.𝘼.𝙆.𝘼).

The project, through its generous sponsors, crafted a captivating storybook that brought the four fundamental rights from the United Convention on the Rights of the Child to life as the story entitled “𝘼𝙣𝙜 𝙋𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙖𝙡𝙖𝙣 𝙠𝙤 𝙖𝙮 𝙃𝙖𝙛𝙨𝙖𝙝” (My name is Hafsah) transported the children and readers to a world where the rights of a child were valued with a special focus on the significance of birth registration.

Through engaging narratives and fun activities, the project fostered a deeper understanding of the importance of birth registration as a critical step towards ensuring that every child’s rights are protected and respected.

Lanao del Sur proudly stands as one of the first provinces in BARMM to institutionalize youth development through 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐎𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐍𝐨. 𝟎𝟎𝟗, 𝐬. 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟎 — the 𝐑𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐰 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐂𝐨𝐝𝐞. This landmark legislation paved the way for the creation of the 𝐑𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐰 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞 (𝐑𝐘𝐃𝐎) and 𝐑𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐰 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐥 (𝐑𝐘𝐃𝐂), transforming grassroots initiatives into official programs such as the 𝐑𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐰 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭, 𝐑𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐰 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐠 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐀𝐜𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐲, and the 𝐑𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐰 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐎𝐫𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐳𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬' 𝐒𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐭.

Since 2020, we have turned policies into concrete action:
• Regular policy-making by the RYDC
• Two full Youth Development Plans adopted
• The Ranaw Mental Health Ordinance enacted
• 100+ youth organizations accredited and recognized

We don’t just gather youth — we build leaders.
From four batches of youth legislators under the 𝐑𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐰 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭, to localized 𝐒𝐊 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐌𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐥𝐞𝐬 (𝐋𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐬 𝟏–𝟐), and the 𝐑𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐰 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐠 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐀𝐜𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐲, we are nurturing capable, future-ready youth who will shape our province’s future.

And our journey is far from over.

In partnership with LGUs, we are strengthening LYDOs, ensuring SK compliance with RA 10742, and expanding support for youth-led initiatives. The 𝟏𝐬𝐭 𝐑𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐰 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞, successfully implemented in April 2025 with UNICEF Philippines and MARADECA Inc., stands as proof of how far we have come — and a promise of how much further we will go for the youth of Ranaw.

Ngayong araw, bumisita din sa ating opisina ang mga kabataang delegates mula sa Ranaw Youth Development Council (RYDC) bilang bahagi ng kanilang official send-off para sa Youth Consultation on Universal Birth Registration na gaganapin sa Davao City, sa pangunguna ng PLCPD at UNICEF Philippines.

Pinangungunahan ng RYDC Co-Chairperson Abdul Muhaimen Macarimbor, ang delegasyon ay binubuo ng mga aktibong youth leaders na kumakatawan sa kani-kanilang organisasyon:

Ang nasabing courtesy visit ay isinagawa sa pakikipag-ugnayan ng Ranaw Youth Development Office (RYDO) sa pamumuno ni Mr. Jamil Faisal “Jeff” Saro Adiong, na siyang nag-endorso sa opisyal na paglahok ng mga delegates.

Akin ding pinapasalamatan ang RYDC sa pamumuno ni SK Provincial Federation President at Board Member Abdul Malik A. Adiong III, sa inyong tuloy-tuloy na pakikipagtulungan sa ating Pamahalaang Panlalawigan bilang pinakamataas na policy-recommending youth ng ating lalawigan.

Ipinahayag din ng mga kabataang delegates ang kanilang commitment na magsumite ng mga konkretong policy proposals batay sa kanilang matututunan sa nasabing konsultasyon, at handang humarap sa Sangguniang Panlalawigan upang ito ay mailobby.

Patuloy na pinatutunayan ng kabataang Meranaw ang kanilang mahalagang papel sa paghubog ng polisiya at pagsulong ng kabataan sa lalawigan. Patuloy na palalakasin, boses ng kabataang Meranaw! 💜🤝

On July 8th, 2025, the RYDC participated in a crucial meeting with our Local Youth Development Officer (LYDO) at the Ranaw Youth Development Office, New Capitol Complex, Buadi Sacayo Marawi City. It tackled financial planning, meeting protocols, project documentation, and reviewed essential documents to ensure transparency and accountability in all our youth development initiatives.

This meeting was a significant step towards achieving good governance and transparency within the Local SK's and LYDC's. We're committed to serving our community effectively and responsibly!
