BASRAC Foundation Extends Assistance to Fire Victims in Masiu, Lanao del Sur

The BASRAC Foundation, together with the Coalition of Lanao Media and Radio Frequencies Operators Inc. (CLMRFO), visited the families affected by the recent fire in Barangay Minanga, Dalug Balt, Masiu, Lanao del Sur.

The fire, which occurred on July 11, 2026, destroyed three houses and affected six families, leaving them in need of immediate support. Through the generosity of our donors and supporters, we distributed relief goods and cash assistance to help ease their burden as they begin to recover.

We sincerely thank everyone who donated and supported this relief mission. Your kindness and compassion have brought hope to families during this difficult time.

We also ask everyone to keep the affected families in your prayers. May Allah (SWT) grant them strength, patience, and ease as they rebuild their homes and their lives. Ameen.

BASRAC Foundation Delivers Relief to Typhoon Inday Victims in Calanogas

July 13, 2026 The BASRAC Foundation, together with the Coalition of Lanao Media and Radio Frequencies Operators Inc. (CLMRFO), visited the victims of Typhoon Inday in Calanogas, Lanao del Sur, to deliver much-needed relief assistance.

Through the generosity of our donors and partners, we distributed jugs of drinking water, solar panels for lighting and charging mobile phones, sacks of rice, medicines, and cash assistance to the affected families.

The tragedy claimed the lives of 11 people, while 4 remain missing. Two survivors a father and his daughter are currently recovering at Dr. Serapio B. Montaner Jr. Al-Haj Memorial Hospital. According to medical reports, the father sustained multiple concussions secondary to a fall and blunt abdominal trauma, while his daughter suffered multiple concussions secondary to a fall, with a suspected fracture.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who donated, our partners at CLMRFO, and all the volunteers who gave their time and effort to make this relief mission possible. Your kindness has brought hope to families during one of the most difficult moments of their lives.

We humbly ask everyone to include the victims, their families, and those who are still missing in your prayers. May Allah (SWT) grant mercy to those who lost their lives, give strength to the grieving families, bring complete healing to the survivors, and keep our communities safe from harm. Ameen.

BASRAC Foundation Qur’an Distribution Program 2026

Alhamdulillah! On May 24, 2026, the BASRAC Foundation, together with our valued partners ZAID BINT THABIT and Coalition of Lanao Media and Radio Frequencies Operators Inc. (CLMRFO), successfully distributed more than 1,000 copies of the Holy Qur’an to selected Madrasahs, Masjids, and Balik Islam communities in three municipalities.

The Qur’ans were distributed in: Municipality of Wao, Lanao del Sur
Municipality of Kalilangan, Bukidnon
Municipality of Basilan, North Cotabato

This program aims to strengthen Islamic learning, support our Madrasahs and Masjids, and assist the Balik Islam community by providing access to the Holy Qur’an to help deepen faith, knowledge, and understanding of Islam.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all our partners, volunteers, supporters, and everyone involved in making this meaningful program possible. Your kindness and generosity continue to bring knowledge, faith, and hope to many communities.

As we continue this mission, we pray that Allah (SWT) accepts all our good deeds and grants us Jannah (Paradise). Ameen.
