The 𝐉𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐨𝐫 𝐒𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐖𝛐𝐫𝐤𝐞𝐫’𝐬 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬 - 𝐏𝐄𝐀𝐂𝐈 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫 successfully concluded its Practicum Orientation for 3rd Year Social Work students on September 3, 2026 at Heaven Hall, PEACI New Building, preparing our seniors for the next chapter of their journey beyond the classroom.

With the theme “𝑭𝒓𝒐𝒎 𝑻𝒉𝒆𝒐𝒓𝒚 𝒕𝒐 𝑨𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏: 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑷𝒓𝒂𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒄𝒖𝒎 𝑱𝒐𝒖𝒓𝒏𝒆𝒚 𝒃𝒆𝒈𝒊𝒏𝒔.” the orientation reminds everyone that Social Work is not only about what we learn, but how we use that knowledge to serve, empower, and create meaningful change.

The Junior Social Workers Association of the Philippines marked a new beginning as they conducted 𝗜𝗡𝗜𝗧𝗜𝗨𝗠 𝗡𝗢𝗩𝗨𝗠 known as the Social Work Department Orientation held on August 31, 2026 at PEACI Heaven Hall, New Building.

Together with our Department Chairperson Mr. Mohammad Ashraf S. Sihawi, RSW and our dedicated Social Work faculty members Ms. Norhainah U. Bacolodan, RSW the newly appointed adviser of 𝐉𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐨𝐫 𝐒𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬 - 𝐏𝐄𝐀𝐂𝐈 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫, and Ms. Airah E. Haron, RSW as we welcomed this meaningful occasion with gratitude and excitement.

The event also highlighted the Induction Ceremony of the new 𝐉𝐒𝐖𝐀𝐏 𝐎𝐅𝐅𝐈𝐂𝐄𝐑𝐒 - 𝐏𝐄𝐀𝐂𝐈 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫 for the Academic Year 2026-2027, officially welcoming them into their roles as student leaders. May this new chapter bring stronger leadership, meaningful service, and unity within our department.

𝐀 𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐏𝐓𝐄𝐑 𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐂𝐋𝐔𝐃𝐄𝐃

As their term comes to a close, we look back on the journey of the 𝐉𝐒𝐖𝐀𝐏 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐫𝐬 who have dedicated their time, effort, and service to the Social Work Department.

Before they officially turn over their responsibilities, each officer leaves a message, some sincere and heartfelt, others lighthearted and humorous, but all carrying a piece of the journey they shared.

From the challenges faced to the memories created, these messages reflect not only their experiences as officers, but also the people they became along the way.

Here’s to the conclusion of the 𝐀.𝐘. 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓–𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 𝐉𝐒𝐖𝐀𝐏 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐫𝐬—to the service rendered, the lessons learned, the laughter shared, and the memories that will remain.
