🗳️ ALAM MO BA? 80 SEATS ANG BANGSAMORO PARLIAMENT

Sa September 14, 2026 Bangsamoro Parliamentary Election, hindi lang isang posisyon ang ating bobotohan. May 80 seats sa Bangsamoro Parliament na nahahati sa tatlong kategorya:

🔵 40 Regional Parliamentary Political Party (RPPP) Seats
🟢 32 District Representative Seats
🟠 8 Sectoral Representative Seats

📌 ANO ANG IBOBOTO NATIN?

Sa ballot, pipili tayo ng:

☑️ 1 Regional Parliamentary Political Party
☑️ 1 District Representative
☑️ 1 Ulama Representative
☑️ 1 Traditional Leader Representative
☑️ 1 Youth Representative
☑️ 1 Women Representative
☑️ 2 Settler Community Representatives

🗳️ PAANO GUMAGANA ANG PARTY VOTE?

Sa RPPP election, political party ang iboboto natin, hindi individual nominee.

May 40 seats na ilalaan para sa mga political parties. Ang bawat qualifying party ay makakakuha ng seats depende sa porsyento ng boto na kanilang makukuha.

📌 2.5% threshold
Kailangang makakuha ang isang party ng hindi bababa sa 2.5% ng valid party votes para maging eligible sa seat allocation.

Halimbawa:
Kung ang isang party ay nakakuha ng 13% ng party votes:

13% × 40 seats = 5.2

Sa illustration na ito, maaari itong magsimula sa 5 seats, habang ang natitirang seats ay ina-allot ayon sa prescribed seat-allocation rules.

👥 SINO ANG Uupo?

Dahil closed-list system, may naka-rank nang listahan ng nominees ang bawat party.

Halimbawa:

2️⃣ Nominee #2
3️⃣ Nominee #3
4️⃣ Nominee #4
5️⃣ Nominee #5

Kung ang party ay makakuha ng 5 seats, ang unang limang nominees sa kanilang ranked list ang uupo bilang representatives ng party.

👉 Kaya tandaan: Hindi ibig sabihin na kapag binoto mo ang isang party, lahat ng 80 seats ay mapupunta sa kanila. Ang party seats ay hinahati sa mga qualifying parties ayon sa kanilang votes.

💡 BAKIT MAHALAGA ANG BOTO NATIN?

Ang bawat boto ay may epekto sa magiging representasyon sa Bangsamoro Parliament. Alamin ang mga partido, kandidato, nominees, at plataporma bago bumoto.

Bumoto nang may kaalaman. Bumoto nang responsable.

For young people, elections are not simply about choosing who gets a position.

They are about having the opportunity to choose who will represent us.

They are about giving aspiring youth leaders the chance to present their vision, demonstrate their capacity to serve, and earn the trust of their communities.

And they are about making sure young people remain active participants, not spectators, in the democratic process.

The question is bigger than a date.

𝗠𝗘𝗘𝗧 𝗢𝗨𝗥 𝗦𝗣𝗘𝗔𝗞𝗘𝗥: 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗙. 𝗙𝗟𝗢𝗥𝗬 𝗝𝗢𝗬 𝗕. 𝗔𝗟𝗩𝗔𝗥𝗘𝗭

Kilalanin si Prof. Flory Joy B. Alvarez, isang youth leader, educator, history and Filipino instructor sa PUP at MINT College, at certified legal professional. Siya ay Magna Cum Laude graduate ng PUP Manila sa BA History at kasalukuyang kumukuha ng Master in Legal Studies–Juris Doctor degree, habang nagsisilbi bilang President ng Law Executive Council ng San Sebastián College of Recoletos – College of Law.

Sa kaniyang mga taon ng pamumuno at adbokasiya, kinilala siya bilang Ayala Young Leaders Congress alumna, Top 2 Outstanding Student Leader of the Philippines, Top 11 Jose Rizal Model Student Awardee, JCI Youth Leadership Excellence Awardee, Chief Girl Scout Medalist, at Ten Outstanding Students of Capiz awardee. Naging Asian Girl Ambassador din siya at kumatawan sa Asya sa ilang pandaigdigang youth at women’s conferences.

Bilang tagapagtatag ng The Anluwagi Project, nanguna rin siya sa mga research-based at makabuluhang inisyatiba para sa media literacy, community development, disaster response, at youth empowerment.
