In early February, the Hugpong sa Pakighiusa members came together in the community to celebrate World Interfaith Harmony Week 2025, embracing the call to foster understanding, dialogue, and peace among people of sincere hearts.

This initiative aligns with the United Nations Resolution (October 20, 2010), which underscores the need for dialogue among different faiths to promote mutual understanding, harmony, and cooperation. Since 2012, the Silsilah Dialogue Movement has celebrated World Interfaith Harmony Week annually, engaging diverse communities in Zamboanga City. This commitment is further reinforced by Republic Act 10525, mandating the nationwide observance of World Interfaith Harmony Week every first week of February.

At a time when divisions persist, these moments of connection remind us that peace begins with dialogue, understanding, and a shared commitment to humanity. Let’s continue fostering interfaith harmony—not just every February, but every day.
