As part of the ibadah observed on Yawmu 'Arafah, the Ri'aayatul Ummah Organization (R.U.O.) humbly carried out the "Sharing the Blessings of Dhul Hijjah Through Unity, Compassion, and Service" initiative on May 26, 2026 at Darul Yateemat Litahfidhel Qur'anil Kareem, Saguiaran, Lanao del Sur. On this blessed day, one of the most virtuous days in Islam, we sought to draw closer to Allah ﷻ by extending kindness and sharing His provisions with our dear sisters in the institution. We pray that Allah accepts this humble act as sadaqah jāriyah, grants barakah to everyone who supported this initiative, and allows us to continue serving the Ummah with sincerity and taqwā.

"And whatever good you put forward for yourselves—you will find it with Allah." (Qur'an 2:110).

On March 16, R.U.O. successfully conducted an Iftar drive for Ramadan 1447 AH.

In addition to Islamic seminars, R.U.O. has devotedly conducted outreach programs and Iftar drives in marginalized communities ever since its foundation. It is part of R.U.O.'s core values that all of ummah deserves to experience a healthy and warm Ramadan.

This past Ramadan, they extended their services to Dar Noor Madanding Litahfeedel Quran and a toril in Pindolonan, Marantao.

This marks their last Iftar drive before an indefinite hiatus due to resource constraints. Although their activities will pause, the members will continue to strive for a community rooted in compassion and piety.

On November 22, R.U.O., in collaboration with ISSA and YMSA, successfully conducted the Islamic seminar entitled “When Tomorrow Never Comes” at the International Convention Center, MSU–Main Campus, Marawi City.

The seminar aimed to deepen participants’ understanding of life after death and the importance of spiritual preparedness. Through a series of insightful discussions, speakers guided attendees on topics such as husnul khaatimah, ghusl and kafan, salat al-janazah, burial etiquettes, and the reality of the akhirah.

This initiative reflects the organization’s commitment to fostering spiritual awareness and strengthening faith within the ummah, encouraging individuals to live with purpose and mindfulness of the hereafter.

On October 30, R.U.O. joined PEACIFIED 2025. The Teach Peace Build Peace Movement (TPBPM) visited the Gymnasium of the Provincial Capitol for their annual peace fair program, PEACIFIED, with the theme “Building Bridges of Peace Through Culture and Faith.”

R.U.O. actively participated in quests, peace talks, interactive exhibits, and cultural and art activities. They gained meaningful insight into responsible leadership, compassionate collaboration, and culturally rooted problem-solving.

This experience marked a significant step in their aspiration to develop a deeper understanding of peace and unity, with the objective of translating this knowledge into meaningful action in their future endeavors.

With the successful implementation of our first outreach program last year, ROU aims to continue its efforts to help alleviate struggles of some members of ummah. With your help, we shall reach out to masjids and torils (boys and girls) to provide not only iftar, but also essentials like prayer garments, groceries, learning supplies, allowance, and fun-filled activities.

As the holy month of Ramadhan approaches, so will ROU’s initiatives for our fellow muslim brothers and sisters, Inn Shaa Allah. Together, let us all bring smiles to the their faces once more.
