On June 14, 2026, the 𝗠𝗦𝗨-𝗠𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗗𝗢𝗦𝗧-𝗦𝗘𝗜 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗮𝗿𝘀' 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗴𝘂𝗲 (𝗠𝗗𝗦𝗟) formally welcomed its newly elected and appointed officers through the 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗿𝘀' 𝗣𝗿𝗲-𝗢𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗔.𝗬. 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲-𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟳, marking the beginning of another year of service and leadership. The session introduced the officers to the League's history, vision, mission, and the initiatives that have shaped the organization through the years. More than an orientation, it served as a reminder that leadership goes beyond holding a position. It is reflected in one's willingness to contribute, take responsibility, and work alongside others in pursuing the League's goals.

As MDSL moves forward with its 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘆-𝘁𝘄𝗼 𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗿𝘀, the orientation also introduced some of the activities and initiatives that the new administration hopes to carry out throughout the academic year. While carrying different experiences, strengths, and aspirations, this new administration now shares the responsibility of continuing the work of the League and building upon what has already been started.

As a new chapter begins, may this generation of leaders not only carry forward the League's legacy, but also give it new meaning through their service. 𝗙𝗼𝗿 𝗯𝗲𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗱 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝘁𝗶𝘁𝗹𝗲 𝗹𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗮 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗲, 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗯𝘂𝘁𝗲, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗽𝘂𝗿𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗲.

🇵🇭 𝗠𝗔𝗟𝗜𝗚𝗔𝗬𝗔𝗡𝗚 𝟭𝟮𝟴𝗧𝗛 𝗔𝗥𝗔𝗪 𝗡𝗚 𝗞𝗔𝗟𝗔𝗬𝗔𝗔𝗡, 𝗣𝗜𝗟𝗜𝗣𝗜𝗡𝗔𝗦! 🇵🇭

Every June 12, Araw ng Kalayaan is commemorated, marking the historic declaration of Philippine Independence in 1898. This day honors the courage, sacrifice, and unwavering patriotism of those who fought for our nation's freedom and laid the foundation of the Republic we proudly call home.

In celebration of the 𝟭𝟮𝟴𝘁𝗵 𝗔𝗻𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲, the 𝗠𝗦𝗨-𝗠𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗗𝗢𝗦𝗧-𝗦𝗘𝗜 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗮𝗿𝘀' 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗴𝘂𝗲 proudly joins the nation in honoring this defining chapter of our history and the generations whose love for country made freedom possible.

Independence Day is more than a remembrance of the past. It is a celebration of the Filipino spirit, resilient in the face of challenges, united in times of adversity, and steadfast in hope for a brighter tomorrow. It reminds us that freedom was not freely given. It was won through sacrifice, protected through courage, and entrusted to us to uphold.

The story of Philippine independence reflects the strength of a people bound by a shared dream of a nation free to shape its own future. As beneficiaries of these liberties, we carry the responsibility of honoring this legacy through integrity, service, and meaningful contributions to society. May this celebration inspire active participation in nation building and the continued shaping of a Philippines worthy of the sacrifices that secured its freedom.

As scholars, students, and future leaders, may this legacy be honored through pursuing excellence with purpose and using knowledge in service of the nation. Guided by the lessons of history and inspired by the promise of tomorrow, may the continued pursuit of a more progressive, empowered, and united Philippines remain steadfast.

Today, we celebrate not only independence, but also the enduring values of 𝗨𝗡𝗜𝗧𝗬, 𝗖𝗢𝗨𝗥𝗔𝗚𝗘, and 𝗛𝗢𝗣𝗘 that continue to define this nation and guide its journey forward.

The MSU-Main DOST-SEI Scholars' League officially marked a monumental milestone during its 𝗧𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘆 held last June 2, 2026, at the CNSM Conference Room. This event was not just a formal transition, but a celebration of continuity, dedication, and shared vision.

As the outgoing officers officially passed the torch, they left behind a powerful charge for the new leadership: 𝘵𝘰 𝘯𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳 𝘴𝘦𝘵𝘵𝘭𝘦, 𝘵𝘰 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘯𝘵𝘭𝘺 𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘣𝘦𝘵𝘵𝘦𝘳, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘰 𝘬𝘦𝘦𝘱 𝘱𝘶𝘴𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘣𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘥𝘢𝘳𝘪𝘦𝘴 𝘰𝘧 𝘸𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘓𝘦𝘢𝘨𝘶𝘦 𝘤𝘢𝘯 𝘢𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘦𝘷𝘦. They reminded us that true leadership isn’t just about maintaining the status quo, but about relentless progress and keeping the fire of service burning despite any challenges. We express sincere gratitude to the physical and spiritual anchors of the past administration for their invaluable contributions and unwavering grit.

To the newly elected officers, congratulations! They are now the bearers of MDSL's core mission. As DOST scholars, our leadership is uniquely defined by a commitment to excellence and science for the people. May they uphold the highest standards of integrity, empathy, and visionary service as they guide our ka-Liga toward greater heights. The bar has been set high, but there is no doubt they will soar even higher.

When one chapter ends, another begins that will continue on the legacy of the Ligang Ekselente and bring about new fantastic elements to the rich and diverse story. This chapter? 𝘛𝘰 𝘣𝘦 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘶𝘦𝘥...

On May 30, 2026, the Association of Registered Campus Student Organizations (ARCSO) held the Gabi ng Pagkilala 2026 at the Provincial Capitol Complex in Marawi City. The event gathered accredited student organizations and student leaders from the university to recognize achievements, contributions, and service to the campus community.

The program highlighted the role of student organizations in promoting leadership, service, and collaboration within the university. It also served as a venue to recognize initiatives that have made meaningful contributions to student life and institutional development.

Each award stands as a reminder that every small effort contributed to something meaningful for the community.

Beyond the plaques and titles, the recognition carries a deeper meaning for the organization. It speaks of the trust built, the challenges overcome together, and the steady passion of members who continue to serve even when the work goes unseen.
