We’re not done yet! The One VetMed 2025 celebration will proceed from November 10–14, 2025, at the CMU Veterinary Teaching Hospital, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Join us for a week filled with learning, service, and compassion featuring free anti-rabies vaccination, deworming, and vitamins for your beloved pets! 💉🐶🐱

[𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦] 𝗣𝗮𝗴𝗹𝘂𝗻𝗴𝘁𝗮𝗱: 𝗢𝗻𝗲 𝗩𝗲𝘁𝗠𝗲𝗱 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗮𝘄𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝟯

𝗡𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟴, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 — a meaningful gathering of pet owners, advocates, students, and veterinarians took place, all united by one mission to uphold responsible pet ownership and strengthen the bond shared with animal companions. The event served as a reminder that caring for animals goes beyond affection, as it also requires awareness, education, and shared responsibility.

The distinguished guest speaker, 𝗗𝗿. 𝗖𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗔𝗹𝗯𝗮𝗻𝗼, DVM, emphasized the vital role of compassion and accountability in pet care. She underscored that vaccinating and nurturing pets is not only an act of love but also a commitment to their well-being and to the health of the community.

Through the collaborative efforts of partner organizations—CVMSCO, CVM Administration, CVM Veterinary Teaching Hospital, and student organizations VKV-VLV, VMSA-IVSA, VPC-DODGE, WILD, The Clinicians Club, and Vox Veterinarius, the initiative successfully provided free veterinary consultations, vaccinations, and distributed essential pet care supplies. The event reflected the collective dedication to building a community of informed, compassionate, and responsible pet owners.

Our pets are family, and just like us, they need protection from sneaky diseases. This is where vaccines come in! Think of them as a superhero shield that keeps your pets safe, healthy, and ready for all the cuddles and adventures ahead ✨

But with so much information online, how do we know what’s TRUE and what’s just a rumor? 👀 Some people say vaccines are “not necessary,” while others believe they “do more harm than good” 😬

It’s often said that prevention is better than cure and that couldn’t be more true when it comes to pet vaccinations. No pet parent wants to see their furry companion feeling sick or struggling with a serious disease 😢.

Vaccines help protect them from harmful and life-threatening diseases before they even have a chance to strike. Plus, here’s a bonus: preventing disease through vaccination is far more affordable than paying for treatment later on. Protecting your pet’s health shouldn’t come at the cost of breaking the bank.

By vaccinating your pets, you’re not only caring for them but you’re also protecting yourself, your family, and your entire community 🏡❤️

A healthy pet means more playtime, more cuddles, and more happy moments together. Give them the protection they deserve! 🐾😄
