Reserve Officers’ Training Corps Unit

On 24 April 2026, at 0630H, the TCCI ROTC Unit held its ROTC Graduation Ceremony for Academic Year 2025–2026, together with the CWTS under NSTP, at P-2B Sayre Highway Panadtalan, Maramag, Bukidnon.

The event was guided by LTCOL Wilmar A Daraog (MI) PA, CDC Director; CPT Ian L Doydora, PA (Res), Commandant; Mr. Jeyvir Vincent T Mantiza, RCrim, CST, ROTC Coordinator; and SSg Mark D Dela Cruz (Art) PA, Admin NCO. They were supported by eight (8)1CL and four (4) 2CL advanced officers, whose coordinated efforts helped keep the program organized and ensured the ceremony ran smoothly from start to finish.

The ceremony was graced by the presence of the College President, Feelin T Jumamil, DM, RN. It was followed by the Guest of Honor and Speaker, 2LT Ma Bhaby Lou A Lorzano (OS) PA, who delivered an inspiring message to the graduates.

The activity came to an official close at 1200H.

On 19 April 2026 at 0630H, the TCCI ROTC Unit conducted its 15 regular Sunday formation.

The activity was supervised by CPT IAN L DOYDORA PA (Res), Commandant; Mr Jeyvir Vincent T Mantiza, RCrim, CST, ROTC Coordinator, SSg Mark B Dela Cruz (Art) PA . They were joined by (6) 1CL and (4) 2CL advanced officers in overseeing the day's activities.

Early in the morning, the activities began with cleaning the designated areas. Afterwards, attendance was taken to ensure that all cadets were present and on time. And the next activity was the final examination serves as an important tool to measure a student's overall understanding of a subject after a period of study. Its main purpose is to evaluate how well the learner has absorbed key concepts, applied skills, and retained essential knowledge. Unlike quizzes or minor tests, a final exam covers a broader scope, ensuring that learning is not temporary but comprehensive.

The formation concluded successfully at 1200H with all cadets demonstrating discipline and cooperation throughout the activities.

On April 12, 2026, the TCCI ROTC Unit, together with the Civic Welfare Training Service (CWTS) under the National Service Training Program (NSTP), conducted its 14th Sunday Formation for the Second Semester. The activity was supervised by Mr Jeyvir Vincent T Mantiza, RCrim, CST, ROTC Coordinator, and Mr Mark Joseph Baja, CWTS Coordinator; CPT IAN L DOYDORA PA (RES), Tactical Officer; SSg Mark B Dela Cruz (Art) PA, Admin Nco; and Sgt Blessy Gienne J Mellejor, PA (Res), GMA, with the assistance of seven (7) 1CL and four (4) 2CL advanced officers.

The day's program began with formation and attendance, followed by a lecture and hands-on training on Basic Life Support (BLS) and Rope Techniques, facilitated by personnel from the Maramag MDRRMO, namely Arnel Sagandilan, AA-III; Winston Traya, AA-III; and Michel Paul Dacut, AA-III. The activity provided both ROTC and CWTS students with essential life-saving skills and practical knowledge in emergency response and rescue operations. The training concluded at 1630H, further enhancing the participants' readiness, discipline, and teamwork, preparing them for real-life situations and future responsibilities.

On 29 March 2026 at 0630H, the TCCI ROTC Unit conducted its 13th regular Sunday formation.

The activity was supervised by CPT IAN L DOYDORA PA (Res), Assistant Commandant; Mr Jeyvir Vincent T Mantiza, RCrim, CST, ROTC Coordinator, Sgt Wilfredo I Balagas, PA(Res), Tactical NCO. They were joined by (7) 1CL and (4) 2CL advanced officers in overseeing the day’s activities.

Early in the morning, the activities began with cleaning the designated areas. Afterward, attendance was taken to ensure that all cadets were present and on time. The next activity was drills and ceremony, which play a vital role in building discipline, unity, and responsibility among cadets. Through consistent practice, cadets learn to follow commands accurately, execute movements with precision, and function effectively as a team. This training also develops self-confidence and fosters respect for authority and fellow cadets. And the next activity was Discussion about Squad tactical operations and battle drills discussed by CPT IAN L DOYDORA PA (Res), Assistant Commandant; are essential components of military training designed to prepare small units for combat and real-world missions. These activities focus on developing the ability of a squad to move, communicate, and respond effectively under pressure. They are based on standard procedures that ensure every member understands their role and can act quickly without confusion.

The next activity was Discussion about the Individual Movements discussed by, SSg Bernie R Paquiao (FS) PA, Drills and Ceremonies 2; Individual movements not under arms are basic body movements performed without carrying weapons. The main purpose of these movements is to develop discipline, coordination, alertness, and proper posture among cadets or trainees. Through consistent practice, individuals learn how to follow commands accurately and move with confidence and control. And the next discussion was Combat training for Individual training and discuss by SSg Mark Dela Cruz (Art), PA, Admin NCO, Combat training is designed to prepare individuals to respond effectively in dangerous and high-pressure situations. Its purpose is to develop physical strength, tactical skills, courage, and quick decision-making. Through combat training, trainees learn how to protect themselves, assist their team, and complete missions safely and efficiently. It also builds confidence and readiness to face real challenges in the field.

The activity was supervised by Mr Jeyvir Vincent T Mantiza, RCrim, CST, ROTC Coordinator. Sgt. Wilfredo I BaLagas, PA (Res) Tactical NCO. SSg. Mark Dela Cruz (Art), PA, Admin NCO; They were joined by six (8) 1CL and four (4) 2CL advanced officers in overseeing the day’s activities.

Early in the morning, the activities started with cleaning the assigned areas. After that, attendance was checked to make sure all cadets were present and punctual. The next activity was Drills and Ceremony, which helps cadets develop discipline, teamwork, and readiness for greater responsibilities in training and real-life situations.
And the next activity was a discussion about Army role in disaster management discussed by Sgt. Wilfredo I BaLagas, PA (Res) Tactical NCO. The army plays an important role in disaster management. During natural disasters such as typhoons, floods, earthquakes, and landslides, the army helps protect and assist affected communities. Because they are well-trained, disciplined, and organized, soldiers can respond quickly in emergency situations. One of the main roles of the army is search and rescue operations. Soldiers help find and rescue people who are trapped or stranded in dangerous areas. They also assist in evacuating residents to safer places to prevent further harm.

Julius C Layson(Inf) PA, Signal communication plays an important role in ensuring effective coordination and teamwork during operations. Its main purpose is to relay clear and accurate information from one member to another, especially in situations where verbal communication may not be possible. Through signals such as hand gestures, radios, or other communication devices, instructions and commands can be delivered quickly and efficiently. And the next discussion about Weapon Training discussed by SSG. Alvin C Baloyo (SC) PA, and SGT Edgar N Abalos (INF) PA. Weapon training is essential in developing discipline, responsibility, and proper handling skills among cadets and law enforcement trainees. Its main purpose is to teach the correct and safe use of weapons to prevent accidents and misuse. Through proper training, individuals become familiar with the different parts of a weapon and understand its functions and limitations. And to the other personel DFC.
