The YES-O Officers of Alae National High School proudly participated in the IDADAIT 2026 Symposium, where student leaders gained valuable knowledge about substance abuse prevention and mental health awareness. The symposium emphasized the importance of education, prevention, and promoting overall well-being, inspiring participants to become responsible advocates in both school and the community. ๐Ÿง ๐Ÿ’š

A huge thank you to the BKD Organization for inviting us to be part of this meaningful event. We came for the learning, stayed for the experience, and left with new insights, unforgettable memories, and stronger motivation to create positive change. ๐ŸŒโœจ

๐ˆ๐ ๐๐‡๐Ž๐“๐Ž๐’ | Alae NHS Joins 1st Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) 2026

On March 12, Alae National High School actively participated in the 1st Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill, reinforcing disaster preparedness and safety awareness among students and faculty.

The activity was headed by the School Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Team (SDRRM) with the support of the Youth for Environment in Schools Organization (YES-O), Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG), and the Senior Scouts, who worked together to ensure a smooth and organized drill.

During the simulation, students and personnel practiced the essential safety protocol: Duck, Cover, and Holdโ€”a simple yet life-saving action that protects individuals during earthquakes.
Because when the ground shakes, prepared minds and quick actions save lives.
In moments of disaster, readiness is not just a lessonโ€”it is our strongest protection
