Grassroots Ball Distribution Project
Launched to Empower Youth Through Football.
Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon and Bugo Cagayan de oro– September 2026. The iCare.Project, in collaboration with the Kicks for Kids Foundation, Football for Humanity UK, and the Bukidnon Football Association, through Usna Gali Football Club, proudly announces the launch of the Grassroots Ball Distribution Project.
This initiative is further strengthened through the partnership of the Mt. Pulog Eagles Club and the Local Government of Manolo Fortich Sports Development Office.
The project underscores the transformative power of sports in addressing critical social issues such as mental health awareness, youth empowerment, and the fight against OSAEC (Online Sexual Abuse and Exploitation of Children).
By distributing footballs and conducting grassroots clinics, the program aims to provide children and young people with safe spaces to learn, play, and grow.
“Football is more than a game—it is a tool for resilience, discipline, and community building. Through this project, we are investing in the holistic development of our youth,” said representatives from iCare.Project.
Key Highlights of the Initiative:
Distribution of footballs to grassroots teams across Bukidnon Football clinics designed to build skills, teamwork, and confidence among children
Integration of advocacy on mental health, youth active participation, and youth leadership.
Strengthening partnerships between local clubs, government agencies, and international organizations
This collaborative effort reflects a shared commitment to harnessing the power of sports for social good. By engaging children in active participation, the project envisions a future where football becomes a platform for empowerment, protection, and community solidarity.
