On September 5, 2026, the Justice Through Science Project wrapped up its fourth seminar entitled "𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗕𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝗥𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗮𝗹: 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗔𝗿𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗰 𝗔𝗻𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆".

This session shed light on the path anthropological evidence goes through — from recovery of human remains, conduct of forensic anthropological analysis, trauma analysis, and taphonomy. It emphasized the importance of having a combined knowledge of anatomy, skeletal biology, trauma mechanics, and taphonomy to accurately give an expert analysis.

The team would like to express our deepest gratitude to our guest speaker, 𝗠𝘀. 𝗠𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗧𝗶𝘀𝗲, Owner and Forensic Anthropologist of Suncoast Forensics, LLC, for not only imparting her knowledge and expertise in the field but also empowering other professionals and future forensic practitioners. On August 15, 2026, the Justice Through Science Project wrapped up its third seminar entitled "𝗨𝗻𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗘𝘃𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲: 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗰 𝗗𝗡𝗔 𝗔𝗻𝗮𝗹𝘆𝘀𝗶𝘀".

This session focused on how DNA should be collected and preserved, mapping the way of how it transforms from a sample into a weapon of justice in the courtroom. It also shed light on the immense power of DNA evidence while also emphasizing its limitations.
