Rotary President-elect Olayinka Babalola revealed the 2026-27 presidential message, Create Lasting Impact, earlier today:

“As members of Rotary, we share a vision of a better future,” he said. “To make this vision a reality, we must acknowledge and unleash the change within ourselves. We must focus not only on outcomes, but on impact."

We close this chapter with grateful hearts and big smiles because that's who we are. The Happy Rotarians of the Rotary Club of Metro Escolta. 💛

To our fellow members, thank you for your time, energy, and commitment to Service Above Self. Your joy in serving is what makes our club truly special.

To our partners and supporters, thank you for walking with us, believing in our mission, and helping us turn ideas into meaningful action. What we do is always better when we do it together.

And to our beneficiaries, thank you for inspiring us. You remind us why we serve, why we show up, and why doing good in the world truly matters.

As we move forward into the coming years, we carry with us the same heart for service, the same joy in fellowship, and the same commitment to Unite for Good. We will continue to serve, to share hope, and to make a difference one act of kindness at a time.

Always happy. Always serving. Always doing good in the world.

Rotary Club of Metro Escolta: Closing 2025 with Gratitude

As 2025 comes to a close, we look back on a meaningful year of service, a year lived by the Rotary ideals of Service Above Self, Unite for Good, and being true People of Action.

Every project, partnership, and shared effort reminded us that service is stronger when we do it together. And as we welcome 2026 and the years beyond, our commitment remains the same: to keep serving, keep uniting, and keep making a difference, one act of kindness at a time.

Onward with purpose. The work continues.

Scenes from the weekend outreach in Surigao for our dear Lolos, Lolas, Badjaos and Mamanoaos🤍

Led by The Generosity Project, the brainchild of our Rtn. Elmirah L. Salanga, volunteers came together to serve with love—providing medical assistance, leading light exercises and games, sharing meals, and distributing Christmas gift packs that brought smiles and comfort to our senior citizens.

This outreach was made possible with KMG, GSIS Surigao BO, Tandag EO, and the generosity of our partners, donors and volunteers.

Thank you to everyone who continues to believe in this advocacy. As we prepare for our December 24 gift-giving, we invite you to support us by donating Noche Buena packs, slippers, and toys.🎄

Small acts, when done together, become lasting hope. 💛

We are still calling for hearts willing to help. ♥️

As we prepare for our December 24 gift-giving, we are humbly accepting cash or in-kind donations to complete 500 Noche Buena packs, 500 pairs of slippers, and toys for those who have so little but hope for so much. Your help will allow us to reach more lives with warmth and dignity this Christmas.

This spirit of generosity is made possible through our Rtn. Elmirah L. Salanga, the heart and brain behind the Generosity Project, now on its 9th year of consistently serving lolos, lolas, children, and furbabies. Year after year, she reminds us that kindness does not need applause—only commitment.

As the kickoff activity for this year, a simple but meaningful outreach was held at Cupang Elementary School in Antipolo last December 16, made possible by PE Lui P. Palmares and her team at MSC, who provided a sound system for the school, along with supplies and snacks for 100 Grade 1 pupils.

This weekend, the project will reach 150 IP children from the Badjao and Mamanua tribes and 100 elderly beneficiaries in Surigao.

Any help you can extend will go directly to bringing comfort and dignity this season. Together, let's make Christmas more meaningful. 🎄♥️

Our CP Chock Encabo delivered an engaging, inspiring, and genuinely authentic talk on membership challenges at the ongoing Vibrant Seminar of District 3810.

He highlighted the real issues many clubs face today, from bringing in new members to keeping our current ones engaged and active. It was an honest and much needed conversation that reminded us of the responsibility we all share.

We were also proudly represented by UCP Julienne Luy Delas Nieves, PP Jp Delas Nieves, and Rtns. Lofer Mabait and Honey Francisco-Mabait who joined the session and showed their full support.

We hope this sparks meaningful action among Rotarians, encouraging us to face these challenges together and build clubs that are truly vibrant, engaging, and able to thrive for many years to come.
