As a temporary solution, we set up a durabox to serve as housing for the feeding station of both Puti and Arthaland's area. These two are both in an open space with no area for cover. Hopefully it can be allowed and will be permanent over time.

Right now, we only have half bag of kibbles left. Any donation for their food will be highly appreciated. 🥰🙏🏻 Message us please :)

Thunder and heavy rain- number one enemy of a volunteer cat feeder. Dry season is officially over and we will be encountering more and more rain especially now that a storm is coming. We're hoping that Andrea and the gingers will take shelter in a place that loves cat. Otherwise, they'll be shoo away.

If you wish to donate to community cat feeders, please msg us :)

Andrea
🙏🙏🙏
Please step up for Andrea. She is searching for a forever home where she can feel safe and loved. Right now, she wanders through the nights in an environment filled with uncertainty, loud noises, and inconsiderate people who bring their dogs and leave her feeding area messy. Her food isn’t always protected from ants, and she has no defense against city gardeners who spray water without regard for her feeding spot, leaving her meals unsafe until the next ration arrives.
Andrea has always healed herself whenever she got sick, and she avoids being petted or touched because of her fear. She needs someone patient who will earn her trust, as she is terrified of cages and being trapped. With rainy days approaching, we hope someone will finally take her in and give her the safe, loving home she deserves. Andrea truly deserves a better life.

I can’t always commit to my community cat routine for a full hour, especially after work, since I carry around 2–3 gallons on my back while walking under the sun. Using an umbrella is inconvenient because it gets in the way of feeding, cleaning, and walking. I rotate through five areas, hoping all the cats are there, while making sure the spots are cleaned, the water is fresh and cold, and the kibble containers aren’t moldy from exposure. Just the feeding alone already takes about an hour, but I rarely do the full routine after work as it consumed 2hours minimum. I prefer not to rush, so I only do it when I feel unpressured.

5 Feeding Areas

starting point - Arthaland

➡️ go to Arthaland feeding area
➡️ Go to Puti Area (across Bonchon bonifacio stop over)
➡️ Go to Shell
➡️ Go to Hsbc parking/george and onnies
➡️ Go to Snr

Time :
🏏 overall cleaning, refilling water and feeding - 2hrs
🏏purely feeding and minimal cleaning - 1 hour

Distance : 5-6 KM distance
Steps : 3,600 steps
Time : 1hr 48min ~~2hrs

‼️Update on PUTI‼️

area : no permanent as we always move his feeder bowls as the sun rays goes up the sky😥😥😥😥😥😥😥😥😥😥😥😥😥😥
May 21,2026 @ 1pm routine check😥😥😥😥😥😥🌞🌞☀️⛅️

In the midst of the sun’s rays, I know this is my choice, but I cannot say no to visiting and checking the critical feeding area. The feeders are exposed and vulnerable to ants, insects, sun heat, vehicle noise, and even careless passersby. Some BGC areas prohibit feeder bowls, and we cannot place protective boxes due to restrictions, so we have to manage with regular checking. Luckily, I’m usually part of the morning shift, and I feel a sense of guilt if I don’t at least visit, clean, and feed—especially for Puti, who already has someone stepping up to adopt him.
Yes, he will soon find his forever home, and a little more sacrifice is worth the wait. I will truly miss this guy. I often bring him cold water and ice, and I’ve found joy watching him rest happily on the grass, even when scraps from Jollibee are tossed aside. We struggle with how to trap him since he can be aggressive, and we need to coordinate after work. Still, we will miss him dearly. He is a fighter, and we hope he overcomes his trauma and learns to trust again in his new home.
Puti is a great warrior against the cruelty of bad humans, and we have no regrets—his adoption is proof that our effort and love paid off. His adopter has already undergone the process with Cats of BGC, and we require regular updates. For those who dislike giving updates, it only shows you are not trustworthy

All we want is to share our time and love with the community cats around our workplace. Feeding them is the least we can do, especially since we cannot bring all of them home for various reasons. Thank you for acknowledging the efforts of our group. There are eight of us, each with different schedules, but we all make time to visit and feed these cats who depend on us for their daily meals.
They may not understand the struggles we go through for them, but what matters is the compassion we give. We believe that the love and kindness we share will be a reflection of how we face our Savior one day.

Please help us pray that they will be adopted someday, that someone will give them a better life, especially now that they’re getting older and their days are more delicate. They deserve a peaceful, loving, and safe home in their remaining years.

We are truly grateful to those who support us by giving funds for cat food. Because of this help, we’re able to use our own resources to extend our efforts to other areas as well, continuing to feed cats even outside BGC.

May 20,2026 | Lunch / After work
Areas covered today :
Arthaland - 3 cats
Snr ~ 4 cats
GnO - 4 cats
Garden - one cat
Shell - 2 cats

plus : mama cat and 2 kittens along the way

Story time:
Break time is never enough for me to cover all five areas I need to check—feeding, monitoring cleanliness, cleaning bowls, and ensuring everything is in order. Most of the time, this happens during day shift under the scorching sun. I make sure the cats are well-fed with wet food at least once or twice a day, with stocked kibbles available if they get hungry in between. They also need cold water and ice because the heat is unbearable, and these community cats are truly pitiful under such conditions.
Walking almost 3 km daily to do this is already an accomplishment for the heart, mind, body, and mental health. Yet, despite the challenges, I will continue to give love and care to these cats. Please support us in this journey—an advocacy to ensure they are never left hungry or thirsty. We need compassionate people like you to join us in this mission of kindness.

😺 Once upon a time, in the bustling streets of HSBC 5th BGC, two stray cats, Alpha (white with black spot) and Summer (white with brown spot), forged an unbreakable bond 💕. For a year (2024-2025), they ruled the streets, winning hearts with their playful antics and affectionate nature 🐾. Their story inspired a community — feeding, volunteering, and loving them, along with 16 other furry friends, each with their own tale ❤️.

But Alpha and Summer's bond was special. It caught the eyes of kind souls, and soon they were whisked away to their forever homes 😺. HK flew off to a new life in Jan 2026, Alpha followed in March 2026 💖. Their journey's proof that even the smallest stories can change lives Ćhinky Čañizares

‼️PUTI‼️

We humbly ask that PUTI be given a chance to be loved and properly cared for. We are sincerely hoping to find him a forever home. As community feeders, we are unable to monitor him 24 hours a day. Despite this, we make sure to visit his usual area two to three times daily to provide clean water and food. There are times when he is not there, and we worry that some people may not welcome him and that he could be driven away—just as we sadly experienced with Hetty.
Hetty has already crossed the Rainbow Bridge, but she gave us one month to love her. One of our co-feeders stepped up and helped her get fostered, even if only for a short time. This experience reminds us how uncertain life is for community cats. We often do not know their full history; we can only care for them from the moment they come into our lives.
We are deeply afraid that PUTI may suffer the same fate—being repeatedly driven away simply because he is a community cat. This is why we are humbly pleading for PUTI to be considered a priority. Every cat matters, but PUTI has no fixed, safe space where his food and water are protected. Unlike other feeding areas where we have constant access to provide care, PUTI remains especially vulnerable.
Please help us give PUTI the chance he truly deserves—a safe, loving home where he will never have to be unwanted again.

We put in the effort. We stand strong. We allot our time and accept the inconvenience of being drenched in sweat, even after work.

And then you — you have the nerve to use our community cats’ bowls for cleaning your motor. You even had the audacity to leave them somewhere else.

You don’t value life. Cats have lives too. Be sensible.

Shoutout to the riders of Chowking BGC / Jollibee BGC in front of St. Luke’s — please check who among you irresponsibly used this cat bowl.
