In order to achieve ICS’s Vision and Mission, it commits itself to:
1.

Vision

ICS as a MEDIUM for critical studies and an effective organization in promoting intellectual discourse among students of different fields, it envisions itself as a centre of students in various discipline united as one to take part in nation building. MISSION

To play a key role in the formation and emergence of a new breed of critical students; idealistic and responsible students and l

eaders who are inspired by a deep sense of values on nationalism and humanist internationalism, by exploring breakthrough on different school of thoughts in various disciplines that impact on the relevance, effectiveness, efficiency and efficacy of the academe, government and the society as a whole. Educate members by conducting discussion, seminars, film showing, workshop and other activities that will develop their critical thinking.
2. Encourage critical thinking through research based instruction and expose its membership in local, national, regional and global issues and concerns affecting society.
3. Cultivate, develop and strengthen critical analysis by equipping members’ theoretical foundations in different subject matter.
4. Popularized Theoretical Discourse in the University by providing in-depth and comprehensive research.
5. Provide its members relevant trainings in technical and research writing to further develops ICS’ commitment for a a diverse and dynamic intellectual discourse.
6. Develop creative modules Curriculum and workshops highlighting the different school of thoughts on philosophy, sociology, political science, economics and other relevant social sciences.
7. Publish a monthly theoretical journal in a weekly newsletter for the PUP’s academic circle.
8. Maximized cyberspace through social networking sites in popularizing theoretical discourse.
