As I look back on my one-year journey as a United Chosen President, I find myself reflecting on how I viewed Rotary when I first began compared to how I see it today.
Many people speak about the networking opportunities Rotary provides. While those opportunities are certainly valuable, networking was never what inspired me most. What truly impacted me were the peopleβthe individuals who serve, lead, and quietly remind us that there is still so much good in the world.
For me, Rotary is not about expanding a network. It is about being surrounded by people whose passion for service inspires us to become better versions of ourselves and challenges us to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
As this chapter comes to a close, I am filled with gratitude for everyone who has been part of this journey. While titles and roles may change, the commitment to service remains the same. The real challenge is not simply to be inspired, but to transform that inspiration into action.
To my fellow UCPsβyehey, graduate na tayo! πβοΈ
And to Rotary International District 3810, especially Governor Mary Mei and all our district officers, thank you for your guidance, leadership, and unwavering support. Governor Mary Mei often reminded us that we are thousands of Rotarians strong. Imagine the impact we can create if each one of us continues to turn inspiration into action.
Thank you, Rotary District 3810, for the opportunity to learn, serve, and grow. This journey has strengthened my belief that meaningful transformation begins when ordinary people choose to serve beyond themselves.
Here's to continuing our mission of Service Above Self and creating lasting impact in our communities. ππ»π©·π
