Today, June 12, serve as a reminder to honor the courage and sacrifice of the generations who fought for our nation's freedom, securing the rights and opportunities we enjoy today. Their unwavering love for our country, and their sacrifices, serves as a reminder that liberty is both a privilege and a responsibility.

As we commemorate Philippine Independence Day, may this occasion inspire our Thomasian community to uphold the values of patriotism, integrity, and service as we continue working toward a brighter future for the nation.

The UST Artlets Economics Society proudly shares the recent appointment of UST AB Economics alumna Marie Jeanette P. Cordero as Director III of the Development Information Staff (DIS) of the Department of Economy, Planning, and Development (DEPDev).

Prior to her appointment, Director Cordero served as Officer-in-Charge of the DIS, providing leadership and strategic direction in the development and implementation of the agency's communication and advocacy initiatives.

Her professional journey reflects the diverse paths through which Thomasian Economists contribute to public service and national development. We celebrate this milestone and wishes her continued success in her service to the Filipino people.

From leading the organization to crossing the graduation stage earlier today, the 51st Executive Board has truly come a long way.

Tonight, we celebrate the members of the 51st Executive Board of the Artlets Economics Society as they reach a significant milestone in their academic journey.

As your successors, we are deeply grateful for the foundation you built and the legacy you leave behind. Your dedication, leadership, and service have left a lasting impact on AES and on the students who had the privilege of working alongside you. Thank you for your guidance, commitment, and for helping shape the organization we proudly continue to serve today.

Congratulations to Joshua, Kailah, Francheska, Kristanna, Ezer, Miguel, and Alyanna! We are proud of all that you have accomplished and excited for what the future holds for each of you. May this achievement be only the beginning of many more successes to come.

Considering all the obstacles and moments they have been able to surpass, their achievements have definitely been worthy of recognition. From envisioning to setting goals, overcoming obstacles, and learning a lot, everything about them has paved the way for this great accomplishment. ๐ŸŒŒโœจ

Their journey was not always an easy ride, from those sleepless nights of studying and analyzing numbers to balancing everything else. But through persistence and hard work, they made lasting memories with one another. And now as they approach graduation day, they can finally hold that much-awaited diploma. ๐ŸŽ“๐Ÿ’ซ
