FIRST by Dokyumentaryo ni Apo

FIRST is a documentary film that follows the journey of the first refugee scholars to graduate in the Philippines. Their achievement is deeply connected to a school that became one of the first in the country to open its doors to refugees, taking a chance on a future many had overlooked.

Join us on 20th June. Let's save the date...!

Rooted in resilience, blooming through every journey.

Meet the inspiring voices celebrating strength beyond borders, sharing stories that reveal the realities of displacement through hope, courage, and growth. Like flowers nurtured through changing seasons, their journeys reflect the roots they carry and the gardens they continue to cultivate along the way.

Tune in on June 20, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, live on DLSU USG's page, as refugees speak their stories into the world and transform lived experiences into a message of empathy, understanding, and global solidarity.

Join the conversation as we honor the journeys that connect us all.

Dr Emilia Sanchez shared her experiences with Rohingya Capth Scholars at 65th Commencement of the Columban College, Inc. (CCI).

She is one of the organizers for Rohingya students at CCI and wishes to have more students in the future. We thank to Ma'am for the prayers and everything. We are grateful to each and everyone for believing us.
