The Economics Research Society (ECONRES) is an established and recognized student organization in the Polytechnic University of the Philippines. The PUP ECONRES commits itself for the furtherance and development of the whole Economics studentry and to help upgrade the status of its students through the creation of greater awareness on the issues concerning the economic well-being of the Filipino p

eople. ECONRES fosters the enhancement of critical and constructive thinking among students with regard to relevant social and national issues and encourages students to act in contribution towards overall nationalist and economic development of the country. It also cultivates harmonious relationship among its members, promotes coordination between students and administrative organizations, and initiate actions that shall lead to the development of society members as it serves to be a model of a truly independent, democratic and nationalist organization that imparts the essence of learning and emanates a truly dynamic entity that respects the freedom and equality of its members.

Ang mga sugat ng nakaraan ang siyang naging sinulid na hinabi ng ating mga bayani upang makabuo ng isang matibay na kasaysayan. Ngayon, hamon sa ating kabataan na tahiin ang mga pangarap ng kahapon sa katotohanan ng bukasโ€”upang ang tela ng ating kalayaan ay kailanman hindi na muling mapunit.

Ang tunay na paglaya ay hindi lamang nagtatapos sa pagwawagayway ng watawat; ito ay ang pananatiling mulat, mapanuri, at may pakialam sa mga nangyayari sa ating paligid. Sapagkat ang kalayaan ay isang tanglawโ€”siguraduhin nating maliwanag at buo ang kinabukasang ating tatahakin.

Gamitin natin ang ating karapatang makibahagi sa diskurso at tumanaw ng pananagutan.
