In celebration of Maternal and Child Health Month, the Rotary Club of Manila Villamor proudly spearheaded a heartfelt initiative:
✨ “Every Mother Matters, Every Child Counts” ✨
This meaningful outreach supported 50 pregnant women and 40 mothers with young children from Barangay 128 and surrounding areas—providing them with vital healthcare, education, and community support.
The project was led with deep dedication by District Governor Mary Mei Rodrigo (RY 2025–2026) and United Chosen President Christina Aliada, in collaboration with co-hosting clubs from Rotary District 3810. Their shared spirit of service made this event impactful and inspiring.

“Every Mother Matters, Every Child Counts” directly addressed five of Rotary’s Areas of Focus, while also promoting a strong Public Image:
1. Maternal and Child Health
Free prenatal consultations and checkups
Distribution of ferrous sulfate, milk packs, and baby items
Guidance from licensed midwives and health professionals
2. Disease Prevention and Treatment
Health talks on common maternal and child illnesses
Education on preventive care and proper nutrition
3. Peacebuilding and Conflict Resolution
LGU officials ensured order and smooth coordination
Promoting peaceful collaboration across the community
4. Basic Education and Literacy
Empowering mothers through health and parenting education
Distribution of materials to enhance maternal awareness
5. Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH)
Distribution of safe bottled drinking water
Promotion of hygiene during pregnancy and child care
