The University Electoral Board is pleased to share "The Empty Chair," an educational infomercial produced by SAS1-C Group A (Midyear Term, A.Y. 2025-2026) under Ms. Kachela Mariano.

Created as part of their course requirements in Self and Society 1, the project aims to promote civic literacy and encourage greater participation in democratic processes by addressing political apathy among the UP Manila Students.

[UNIVERSITY ELECTORAL BOARD GENERAL RESOLUTION 2026-003]

The University Electoral Board (UEB) hereby releases the General Resolution 2026-003, affirming the official results of the 2026 University Student Council General Elections and formally proclaiming the duly elected officers of the 47th University Student Council of the University of the Philippines Manila.

Following the conclusion of the Election Protest Period, during which no election protests were filed, the Resolution officially upholds the results of the 2026 General Student Council Elections in accordance with the provisions of the Amended UP Manila Election Code.

As of 11:59 PM yesterday, July 8, 2026, the Election Protest Period for the 47th UP Manila University Student Council General Elections has officially concluded.

No formal election protests were filed within the prescribed period.

The University Electoral Board extends its appreciation to the UP Manila community for upholding due process and contributing to a peaceful and orderly electoral process.

[UPM UEB 2026: Initial Canvassing Results | 47th USC General Elections]

The University Electoral Board hereby releases the Initial Canvassing Results for the 47th UP Manila University Student Council General Elections.

Based on the official canvassing of votes, a total of 18 invalid votes were recorded and excluded from the official tally. The posted results remain subject to the prescribed election protest period in accordance with the UP Manila Election Code.

Members of the UP Manila community who wish to file an election protest may accomplish the Election Protest Form by scanning the QR code or accessing the link:

The voting period for the 47th UP Manila University Student Council General Elections has officially concluded.

The University Electoral Board extends its sincere appreciation to every member of the UP Manila community who exercised their right to vote and contributed to this democratic process.

We now invite everyone to witness the Live Canvassing of Votes, which will be streamed on the official page of the University Electoral Board today at 6:00 PM. Join us as we uphold transparency and accountability in the canvassing of election results.

[Extension of Voting Period]

The voting period for the 47th UP Manila University Student Council General Elections has been officially extended.

In view of the low voter turnout, the University Electoral Board has extended the voting period until Monday, July 6, 2026, at 12:00 PM to provide more students the opportunity to participate in the electoral process.

If you have not yet cast your vote, this is your chance to make your voice heard and take part in shaping the future of student representation in UP Manila.

Every vote counts. Cast yours before the extended voting period ends.
