Heads up, TUPians!
Every year between October and May, the flu may spread and affect anybody, but certain people are more vulnerable. Flu complications are most common in young children and adults, the elderly, and those with particular health disorders or a weaker immune system.
The University Student Government with University Clinic would like to ask for your help answering this survey, "Survey on Obtaining Flu and Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) Vaccine for Interested Students of TUP- Manila."
Some types of human papillomavirus can be avoided; by using an HPV vaccine. The said virus includes cervical, vaginal, and vulvar cancers in women —-penile cancer in men, a**l cancer in both men and women, tonsil, the base of the tongue, and back of throat cancers in both men and women.
Since HPV can be transmitted through intimate skin-to-skin or sexual contact, the HPV vaccine can prevent more than 90% of HPV-related cancers.
Note: 1. This will be free of charge once the budget is approved---the date cannot be specified for now, but we will announce it once the budget acquire these vaccines is approved.
2. Only those who will give their consent to be vaccinated will be included in the final count.
